It is obviously the upgraded version of the new Blue Pure 411 Auto, yes, it is just bigger. It is for anyone who can’t afford the new price of Blue Pure 211 anymore, or don’t want to wait for the uncertain release of, maybe, Blue Pure 211 Auto.

One-minute review, the Blue Pure 311 Auto is the top-end smart air purifier of the Blue family, so it combines both the elegance of minimalism design and unrivaled Smart Sensor made by Blueair in one device. Digging deeper into the new smart sensor, it’s a combination of both dust and gas sensors that you can’t find on budget smart air purifiers.

The price of this Blue Pure 311 Auto is at $249, and you can get an air purifier with nearly the same size as the Blue Pure 211. It doesn’t have as much as fan power, but the new Scandinavian theme and smart features are the selling points.

So to say, the Blue Pure 311 Auto is a very good challenger for the price, though most air purifiers in this price range have Smart Sensor, like the Coway AP-1512HH, Winix 5500-2 or Levoit LV-H133. Blue Pure 311 Auto Design and Size

The design of the Blue Pure 311 Auto is completely new from the whole squad of Blue family under Blueair, however, as we’ve already covered these new changes in the review of the Blue Pure 411 Auto, so it’s tempting to repeat these words.

Blueair might not have changed the design of the Blue Pure 311 Auto on the front, but overall its color is impressive. By default you get the Arctic Trail version, and you can ask Blueair for your most favorite option. These colors are all inspired by the natural landscapes of Scandinavia, and that’s the mark of the Swedish manufacturer.

The rest of the design is very similar to what we’ve seen from the Blue Pure 411, at the size of the Blue Pure 211. It’s larger, sure, but not overly so like the biggest Blue Pure 121. At 20.5 inches in height and 10.2 inches in diameter, the Blue Pure 311 Auto is suitable for any medium rooms of 300-400 square feet.

Ultimately, the design of the Blue Pure 311 Auto is pretty much identical to that of the most popular Blueair device, and it is for the fan who want stronger version. The cylindrical 360° design and bottom-to-top airflow system concept are remaining the same. There is no need to change these basic air purifying design things.

Blue Pure 311 Auto is extremely light. At the same size of the Blue Pure 211, it weighs only half of the older brother at 6.8 lbs. Blue Pure 311 Auto Filters

Aside from the ease of use, the filtration system of the Blue Pure 311 Auto is one of the main selling points for this new Blueair air purifier. You will have the same 3-stage air cleaning system, but this is one of the best air filtration systems you can have in the world.

1. Pre-filter – It’s worth noting that the fabric pre-filter of the Blue Pure 311 Auto is outside the air purifier. This is one great advantage of this pre-filter, because you can easily check its status and vacuum or wipe the contaminants out immediately.
2. Particle filter – Instead of using a True HEPA filter, the Blue Pure 311 Auto runs a polypropylene fiber filter to help capture 99.97% of all allergens as small as 0.3 microns like dust, dust mites, pet dander, pollen and fungi (HEPASilent technology).
3. Activated Carbon Filter – The Activated Carbon filter is added inside the Particle filter and effective against smoke, odors, gases and VOCs.

So exactly what’s HEPASilent Technology? The Blueair unique combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration allows its air purifiers to use filters that are less dense than traditional True HEPA filters without a loss in performance. As a result, the Blue Pure 311 Auto marks a very high fan power.

As you can see, the Blue Pure 311 Auto is easily on top at cleaning 99.93% of any particles down to 0.3 microns in just 1 hour. Such performance in a room of 200 square feet is great, certainly.

Blue Pure 311 Auto Room Coverage
