Levoit Vista 200 Filters

To determine the performance of the air purifier, we always check the quantity and quality of the air filters, as well as the air filter types. Levoit Vista 200 has a 3-stage air cleaning system, as shown below.

Likewise, the Levoit Vista 200 will use the all-in-one air filter, but with a much smaller size than its brother. The efficiency, however, is stated to be as high as 99.97%.

Again, I need a test to check the real-world efficiency of this Levoit Vista 200, and that’s why I use the same testing conditions as with the old Levoit LV-H132, in a room of 100 square feet and under 1 hour. Meanwhile, I also used the new Whirlpool WPT60, Blue Pure 411, and AeraMax 100 to give you a full comparison with this new air purifier. The Whirlpool WPT60 was still the best performer with the highest efficiency, while the Levoit Vista 200 can only clean 99.7% of all particles down to 0.3 microns. The Blue Pure 411 had the lowest score, with only 99.5%.

The new air filter, the Vista 200-RF, is currently unavailable on the official website of Levoit, and you can only buy the replacement from Amazon. It is just $15 for one set, which is easily one of the most affordable filter replacements at the moment. You should replace the air filter after 6 to 8 months of use.

Levoit Vista 200 Room Coverage

Levoit is heavily promoting the extra-large room coverage as its selling point. Even for a compact air purifier like the Levoit Vista 200, it is able to handle a room of 170 square feet. However, you really need to check other specs as well to determine the actual fan power of this air purifier.

The ACH of Levoit Vista 200 is 2X. It can clean your room every 30 minutes.

The CADR of Levoit Vista 200 is 50 cfm in general. The Levoit Vista 200 remains the same fan power as the old Levoit LV-H132, so it takes you the same duration of time to clean your room. The best advice is to use this air purifier as near you as possible.

Levoit Vista 200 Sound

As a bedroom air purifier, the Levoit Vista 200 can get very quiet to avoid interrupting your sleep. It was once featured in the LV-H132, so we can expect the same silent operation in this air purifier.

With only 3 fan speeds, the Levoit Vista 200 keeps the minimum noise level at only 26 decibels (dB), which is even quieter than the LV-H132, as well as the noise level of a whisper. For personal use, you can’t hear any sound from this air purifier at the lowest setting.
