While the Levoit Core P350 serves a specific purpose, the Levoit Core 300S is a better device at nearly the same price in terms of smart features.

Levoit doesn’t let its loyal customers wait much, with the quick release of the new Levoit Core P350 right in January. Well, the most popular air purifier brand learns much from the behavior of its customers, and this air purifier is supposed to be the Levoit Core 300 with its own Pet Allergy air filter. Levoit Core P350 Price

The Levoit Core P350 isn’t Levoit’s new “everything air purifier” for the moment, as it is very much the same as the original Levoit Core 300, despite the new silver color option.

Well, it couldn’t be a new taste for your room decor, but this air purifier is designed specially for every pet problem. If you are a pet owner (like me) and you don’t want to go through the process of finding and using the proper air filter for your Core 300, the Levoit Core P350 is simply for you.

There is no hidden perk from the previous model, but just know Levoit is asking for a little more money. The Levoit Core P350 is officially listed at $129 on the Levoit website, and we need to wait longer to see a decent reduction in price. Right now, you can look for the Levoit Vital 100 as an alternative, but with a different design.

With the new high-end air filter for pets, the Levoit Core P350 is a worthy challenger to the Blue Pure 411 and GermGuardian AC5250PT, which are meant for any pet owner. If you can pay just $20 more, you can choose between the Airthereal APH260 or Blue Pure 411 Auto, both of which have much higher fan powers than our current unit.

But if you are a loyal fan of Levoit, don’t hold back. The Levoit Core P350 is an interesting edition based on the old Core 300, and we should look for more models using the same idea as this device.

Levoit Core P350 Design and Size

If you want the latest Levoit air purifier to be significantly different, you will be disappointed for sure. Levoit Core P350 may have a new brushed silver color option, but for the design and size, it is technically the Levoit Core 300. For anyone who wants the next level of the Core 300, check out the new Levoit Core 400S.

Updated: Like I said, it is technically the Core 300, and you can even buy a Core P300 at a higher price. We haven’t tested this new device, but we believe it is the Core 300 with the word “Pet” on it.

I was immediately drawn to the Levoit Core P350 as the better-looking version. It has the same color tone as the new Vital 100, instead of using the traditional white color since Levoit LV-H132. Other dimensions remain the same, with just 14 inches in height and 8.7 inches in width.

This air purifier has the same cylindrical design concept as the Core 300 model, as well as the same smooth flowing curves and 360° air intake grill.It’s Levoit’s marginally better answer to any other low-end air purifier, and it’s proud to keep that on the Levoit Core P350.

Sold? You will have the bottom-to-top airflow system concept to help pull out the clean air directly toward the user. This air purifier is designed for bedrooms, so you can sleep better with your cats and dogs. Hooray!

Change happens on the top control panel, but only Levoit purists can find it. You will have a new icon for the Pet Proof function, which is basically the original Child Lock function.

Levoit Core P350 Filters

I have high expectations for the Levoit Core P350 in terms of the air filtration system, as it is the main difference from the old Core 300. To be completely ozone-free, this air purifier uses the signature 3-stage air cleaning system without an ionizer or UV-C light filter.

1. Pre-filter – This new non-woven nylon pre-filter is able to capture more large particles such as dust, pet hair, and loose fur. You need to vacuum this filter regularly because it is only effective for a short time.
2. True HEPA filter – Levoit Core P350 uses a True HEPA filter to reduce 99.97% of as small as 0.3 microns of allergens, pet dander, virus particles, pollen, and bacteria particles.
3. Activated Carbon Filter – This Activated Carbon filter tackles smoke and unpleasant odors from the kitchen, your pets, or even the outdoors.

We anticipate a special and advanced activated carbon filter. Levoit Core P350 upgrades the ARC Formula from the basic pet allergy air filter of the previous model and turns any air pollutants into harmless molecules to avoid second-hand pollution.

You can think of this formula as an extra layer of protection, which is the anti-microbial treatment used in other high-end air purifiers. Finally, we can’t forget the high-quality H13 True HEPA filter from Levoit, which can reduce up to 99.97% of any particles down to 0.3 microns.

However, the new air filter is only made for special treatment against pet odors and dander. Basically, the Levoit Core P350 is just last year’s model, so it has the same efficiency at trapping airborne pollutants. Quick result: the Levoit Core P350 can trap 99.9% of any particles as small as 0.3 microns in a room of 150 square feet for 1 hour.

The filter’s name for this air purifier was once named Core P350-RF. However, it would be such a hassle to keep checking the product pages of different air filters that Levoit decided to lump it together with the air filter of the Core 300. It is still recommended to change after 6–8 months for optimal performance.

Levoit Core P350 Room Coverage

The new Vortexair technology in the Levoit Core P350 is similar to the Advanced Cyclone Technology in the Levoit Core 300. It can increase the fan power in a compact air purifier, and the manufacturer suggests using the Levoit Core P350 in a room of 215 square feet.

The ACH of Levoit Core P350 is 5X. Employing the high fan power of the previous model, this air purifier can exchange the air every 12 minutes.

The CADR of Levoit Core P350 is 140 Dust/ 141 Smoke/ 145 Pollen (cfm). I believe this is the best fan power result you can get for an air purifier under $100.

Levoit Core P350 Sound

Like any Levoit air purifier, the Levoit Core P350 follows the same rule: to be exceptionally silent, so you can sleep peacefully with it. According to Levoit, it uses the AC capacitor motor to keep the noise level as low as possible. On its lowest speed, the Levoit Core P350 is only 24 decibels (dB), which is even quieter than a whisper.

Levoit even trademarks this quiet operation as the QuietKEAP technology, and the highest noise level is only 50 decibels, which is audible but won’t disturb you.

Levoit Core P350 Power Consumption

An air purifier is designed to run for a long time to be more efficient, making the high-priority question in Breathe Quality: “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” To know the answer, we will need to check the power consumption of this air purifier.

Levoit Core P350 has a rated power of 45 watts and a standby power of less than 0.8 watts. Because the original Core 300 is an Energy Star air purifier, the new Core P350 is supposed to be energy-efficient.

If you run this air purifier for 8 hours each day, you will only need to pay $16 per year.

Levoit Core P350 Additional Features

Levoit called its Child Lock function the Pet Lock function, but this is basically the same feature. Well, I guess it really wants this air purifier to be the best air purifier for pets, right?

Again, we have a sleep mode to keep the fan power on the lowest setting and dim all display lights. To make the Levoit Core P350 more useful, you can use the timer setting, which is now increasing from a maximum of 8 hours to 12 hours.

There is still one LED indicator for filter replacement, so you can keep track of when to change the air filter. However, if you want more smart features, take a look at the Levoit LV-PUR131S instead.

Our verdict

With a new silver color option and a high-quality pet air filter, the Levoit Core P350 is an interesting update for the #1-selling Levoit Core 300. Its starting price point may be $20 higher, but I believe we will soon get a discount for the new air purifier.
