The Bionaire BAP360XL uses a cylindrical design pattern that’s as practical as it is eye-catching. While it doesn’t read as dramatic as air purifiers 10 years ago, trust us, it makes an impression once you see it placed in a room. It looks like a new Levoit air purifier, instead of Bionaire, which we get used to models like the Bionaire BAP9417 AER1.
The 360° design means the unit draws air through the cylindrical housing from all sides simultaneously, something we immediately appreciated the first time we switched it to high speed and felt the even, omnidirectional pull. This is a genuinely effective approach, and we appreciated it more practically the longer we used it.
With the common design for modern air purifiers, don’t forget that the Bionaire BAP360XL is truly an ‘XL’ air purifier, with its dimension 20.66 inches in height, doubling the size of the Bionaire BAP360. It is heavier at 8.2 lbs, though the difference isn’t that much considering its size.

Bionaire BAP360XL Sound
The Bionaire BAP360XL has a low noise level on its lowest speed. We measured the noise level to be only 32 decibels (dB), which is nearly the same as the whisper-quiet operation from other air purifiers.
However, the Bionaire BAP360XL is noisy on its highest speed, at 62 decibels. Bionaire air purifiers usually have terrible acoustic profile, so its air purifiers are noisy even with low fan power.

There is a return policy for the Bionaire air purifiers, just like Holmes air purifiers, as you can return your item within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or refund of the purchase price, for any reason.
