InvisiClean may be one of the smaller players, but the American air purifier brand has risen to be a big fish in that particular pond, especially when they have released one air purifier after another in just only 4 years. The InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier is marking the first tower air purifier design from this company. So, don’t wait anymore, let’s check our InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Review.
Other InvisiClean’s Air Purifier Reviews:
InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Price
Among all the air purifiers with fancy name that the company currently produces is one that is not given the notice that it should have this year. The InvisiClean 4-in-1 (code name IC-7028) is the only tower air purifier of InvisiClean, and I thought of it as the prototype for the new air purifier that this company will bring to us soon.
This air purifier came to us with some shockingly impressive hardware specifications, I mean the great air filtration system especially in this price bracket. Though it is not a surprise for one who’ve experienced InvisiClean air purifiers right now, the InvisiClean Aura and InvisiClean Sensa, the InvisiClean IC-7028 is still a best bang for the buck. At the time of writing, you can get this air purifier with only $119, which is $10 cheaper than the most popular InvisiClean Aura.
Note that, while the price is really good for people who love budget air purifiers, the InvisiClean IC-7028 still needs to face a lot of powerful opponents. The Whirlpool WPT60, GermGuardian AC5250PT and Bionaire BAP535UV-U are the closest tower air purifiers with same performance as InvisiClean IC-7028. Moreover, we have reviewed the SilverOnyx, with the same air filtration system as our today InvisiClean tower air purifier, but with higher price.

InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Design and Size
The InvisiClean tower air purifier reminds us of an old favorite, the Honeywell AirGenius 4. The difference is its curves on sides, giving the illusion that it’s bigger than it really is. In fact, the InvisiClean tower air purifier is a little bit smaller, with the height of only 26 inches.
The air grill design, however, is a dead ringer for our today InvisiClean tower air purifier. It is the same paralleled large air vent inspired by the Honeywell devices. A plastic frame with black color ensures that the device won’t cause harm when plugging.
This air purifier uses the back-to-front air flow system concept, which directs the polluted air from the back air inlet to the front air outlet. The air direction is still suitable for the modern days, which is also applied in the new Whirlpool WPT80 that released in this year.
The control panel is located on top of this air purifier, with an LCD display and 5 functional buttons.
With a weight of only 11 lbs, it is a well-built tower air purifier with convenient handle from the back. The manufacturer also advise you to only use the handle to lift this air purifier, and I think you should follow their instructions.

InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Filters
The appearance of all-round air purifiers (air purifiers with all basic air filter types) is increasing more and more, especially in the new low-range devices. The InvisiClean 4-in-1 tower air purifier is one of that trending tech, powered by a super 4-stage air cleaning system.
- Pre-filter – It is attached with the Activated Carbon filter, to capture large particles such as dust and hair, as well as adsorb odors from cooking, pets, smoke and more.
- True HEPA filter – The H13 True HEPA filter can remove 99.97% of airborne particles with size down to 0.3 microns like dust, allergens, pet dander, mold spores and pollen.
- Ionizer – Vital ionize destroys harmful airborne allergens. Can be switched on/off.
- UV-C light filter – Kills germs, mold spores, bacteria and viruses.
After the release of the Bionaire BAP536UV-U, the modern air purifiers, especially from the small players, are packing up with all air filter types, to increase the efficiency of the air filtration system. We can see the presence of things like SilverOnyx, PureZone Elite and now, our InvisiClean 4-in-1 tower air purifier. This is also the air filtration system of the console air purifier from this brand, like InvisiClean Aura or InvisiClean Claro.
The ionizer is a must-have feature for low-range air purifiers to improve the efficiency. We mostly see the ionizer as a standalone feature or a supporting technology for low-class HEPA-type air filter. InvisiClean tower air purifier can emit the negative ions, to gather the contaminants toward the True HEPA filter, thus release the fresh air. The density of ions is 50 million/in³.
UV-C light filter is a popular air filter type in the tower air purifier, starting first by the Guardian Technologies and their signature air purifiers like GermGuardian AC4825 and GermGuardian AC5000. Our InvisiClean tower air purifier use the same UV-light bulb, which can help kill the harmful elements in the air such as mold spores, germs and viruses.
In Breathe Quality’s lab, I made several tests for all of InvisiClean air purifiers. The InvisiClean tower air purifier is the lowest performance of all four devices, with smaller filter media and weaker fan power. However, testing it against the GermGuardian AC5000 and AeraMax 100, in the same room of 100 square feet and under 1 hour, I found the InvisiClean tower air purifier have better efficiency in trapping particles down to 0.3 microns, up to 99.92%. The GermGuardian AC5000 and AeraMax 100 can only deal with 99.9% and 99.8%, respectively. This performance, as you can see, is better than both the PureZone and Whirlpool WPT60, which are also the Amazon’s Choice in this price range.
At the time of writing, InvisiClean has a discount for their package of True HEPA filter and Activated Carbon filter with only $19. The air filter needs to be replaced after 6 – 12 months depending on use.

InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Room Coverage
I, personally, have respect of InvisiClean for being the rare U.S air purifier brand that doesn’t boast off the room coverage for their air purifiers. The InvisiClean tower air purifier, with its CADR rating, is suitable for a room of 160 square feet.
The ACH of InvisiClean tower air purifier is 4X. This air purifier can clean your room every 15 minutes.
The CADR of InvisiClean tower air purifier is 125 cfm in general.

InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Sound
There is one main purpose to make air purifier with low fan power – the silent operation. Actually, InvisiClean is confident to advertise of their modern motor, but the real number doesn’t support their words much.
So to say, if you run this InvisiClean tower air purifier on highest speed, the noise level could reach 58 decibels (db), which is a little bit higher than the normal threshold of silent air purifier. It’s quite like the noise level in your office, or a public restaurant. Moreover, you should notice the crackling noise from the ionizer, so turn the feature off whenever you find it annoying.

InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Power Consumption
In Breathe Quality, one of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?”. In fact, an air purifier needs to run for a long time (usually more than 8 hours) to be efficient, and therefore, power consumption is an important criteria to decide which air purifier to buy.
The InvisiClean tower air purifier, just like the GermGuardian AC5000, can’t be an energy-saving air purifier with its UV bulb. The power consumption is rated at 65 watts, which is triple the rated power of SilverOnyx.
If you run the InvisiClean tower air purifier for 8 hours each day, you need to pay $23 each year.

InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Additional Features
The InvisiClean 4-in-1 tower air purifier has an LCD display in control panel, but the additional features are just basic. You will have two buttons to turn on/off the ionizer or UV light filter. There is one simple button to change the fan speed, within 3 fan speeds to use.
Other than that, there is only one basic timer and LED indicator for filter replacement in this InvisiClean tower air purifier. There is no air sensor in this device, and if you want this feature, you need to head for the InvisiClean Sensa or InvisiClean Claro instead.
InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier Customer Service
InvisiClean focuses not only on the air purifier manufacturing, but also the great customer service. You will receive your products in 1-5 business days. The InvisiClean 4-in-1 Tower Air Purifier is one of our best reviewed air purifiers for the performance in room of 100 square feet, thanks to its all-round air filtration system. Though the design is quite old, it is still good with the premium black color and attractive LCD display control panel.
