The InvisiClean Claro (IC-4524) wants to be your Coway AP-1512HH and Honeywell HPA300 replacement. It is even less expensive than the best flagship air purifiers, yet it looks and performs like a top-tier one. We are looking at the flagship of InvisiClean, but can it challenge the mighty best air purifiers? We will see in this InvisiClean Claro Review.
In Breathe Quality, we have reviewed all air purifiers under these sections. Also, we guarantee that:
- We do give honest reviews (both pros and cons) so anyone will guarantee to have the wisest choices.
- We do not (and never) exaggerate one product just to let you click the links and buy that product blindly.
- Uses the ultimate air filtration system
- Maximum fan power with low power consumption
- Attractive and useful LED display
- Smart features
- High power consumption at highest setting
- Not really a better value
InvisiClean is putting all their effort in developing the InvisiClean Claro, which is also the newest product available that aims higher range than things like InvisiClean Aura or InvisiClean Sensa. So far, it is also the most powerful device this American company can give to us, and we’re happy to give it a full check in our InvisiClean Claro Review.
Other InvisiClean’s Air Purifier Reviews:
InvisiClean Claro Price
Like I said earlier, this InvisiClean Claro is the challenger to the top-tier devices in its price range. And since this is the most aggressive market, InvisiClean Claro must, at least, pack some real punches to take advantage.
We also enjoy the name of any InvisiClean air purifier, and Claro means “clear” in Spanish. It is also ‘clear’ that the InvisiClean Claro will give you the most visible display of your air status, from air quality, humidity and temperature. Yes, everything is clear.
That’s not all. The American air purifier maker is ambitiously trying to compete with the best air purifiers made in the U.S and South Korea, so much so that they designed the device inside California, where rooted the origin of many air purifier brands.
It is not quite inexpensive enough, as the price of InvisiClean Claro raises to $269, but it will be worth your money with its rich-looking design, as well as tons of useful features. After the InvisiClean Aura took a new look, we can hope for a new version of this device soon.
The only bad news is this InvisiClean Claro is so popular on Amazon, as it is sometimes out of stock. Don’t worry, we will always update our deal for you, so you can get this air purifier easier.

InvisiClean Claro Design and Size
The InvisiClean Claro, first impression, feels like the grown-up version of last year’s InvisiClean Sensa. It moves the top air outlet a bit lower, as well as the LED display to the front panel, giving space for the top control panel. Clearly, InvisiClean Claro takes minimalism in its design, so it reduces the size of its buttons, as well as deletes any icons in them.
InvisiClean Claro is also the biggest console air purifier of this company, and it stands with the height of 23.4 inches. The width is also larger, as it is 14.7 inches, compare with 12.3 inches from InvisiClean Sensa. This is the best size for a more powerful air purifier, and the common size for any device running bottom-to-top air flow system concept.
What InvisiClean has done nicely on the front of the InvisiClean Claro is putting the LED display on. Honestly, the screen is so attractive for its 2-inch LED display, with an overall minimalist look.
Though being the biggest in size, the InvisiClean only weighs 13.25 lbs, which is really compact so you can move it to different rooms in your home.

InvisiClean Claro Filters
Again, the InvisiClean Claro brings back the all-round air filtration system (combining all air filter types) from the InvisiClean Aura, and therefore, you will see the 4-stage air cleaning system in this air purifier.
- Pre-filter – It is attached with the Activated Carbon filter, to capture large particles such as dust and hair, as well as adsorb odors from cooking, pets, smoke and more.
- True HEPA filter – The H13 True HEPA filter can remove 99.97% of airborne particles with size down to 0.3 microns like dust, allergens, pet dander, mold spores and pollen.
- Ionizer – Vital ionize destroys harmful airborne allergens. Can be switched on/off.
- UV-C light filter – Kills germs, mold spores, bacteria and viruses.
It simply favors the quantity over quality, because I don’t see any improvement from the True HEPA filter. However, we welcome back the ionizer and UV-C light filter, which is removed from the InvisiClean Sensa to make it complete ozone-free.
With an all-round air filtration system and powerful fan, the InvisiClean Claro is snappy and showed no signs of weakness when put through my initial tests. Best of all, the combination of all air filter types can clean your room much quicker, something that can’t be achieved by many other devices without ionizer.
Testing the performance of InvisiClean Claro against the most picked devices in the market, like Coway AP-1512HH and Honeywell HPA300, in the same room of 200 square feet and after 1 hour, I still find this Claro to be a little bit inferior. Surely the efficiency of 99.93% for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns is impressive, but these top-tier devices can clean 99.95%.
The air filter cost, however, remains the same as only $29 for a pack of True HEPA filter and Activated Carbon filter. This cost is even lower than the package from the Aura and Sensa, which is $34. You can use the air filter from 6 – 12 months, depending on use.

InvisiClean Claro Room Coverage
Bearing a much more powerful fan, the InvisiClean Claro is expected to deliver fresh air in larger rooms, and also do it faster. The manufacturer suggest to use it in a room of 375 square feet based on 8-ft ceiling. This room coverage is larger than even the AeraMax 300, but we will see if the InvisiClean Claro really wins.
The ACH of InvisiClean Claro is 4X. With this air changes per hour rating, the InvisiClean Claro can clean your room every 15 minutes.
The CADR of InvisiClean Claro is 200 cfm in general. It does better than the InvisiClean Aura, but not that much you need to spend $70 for just only 30 cfm in difference. Moreover, the fan power of InvisiClean Claro is still weaker than some budget devices, like Winix 5300-2, Winix 5500-2 or Winix C535.

InvisiClean Claro Sound
If it is only for the noise level, the InvisiClean Claro can’t compete against the mighty Coway AP-1512HH and AIRMEGA 200M. However, in a world with a lot of air purifiers, InvisiClean Claro can be proud with its good silent operation.
Running a progressive DC motor, the InvisiClean Claro starts with only 32 decibels for the lowest noise level. If you want to know how quiet of 32 decibels, you can think of the whisper. This is the golden feature of any modern air purifiers like InvisiClean, to not interrupt any people on lowest speed.
I recorded the noise level of InvisiClean Claro on highest speed to be only 56 decibels (db), and I believe the turbo mode of this air purifier is even better than the quiet InvisiClean Sensa. Of course, you will hear it work, but this is just some kind of white noise, and it can even help you sleep better.

InvisiClean Claro Power Consumption
In Breathe Quality, one of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?”. In fact, an air purifier needs to run for a long time (usually more than 8 hours) to be efficient, and therefore, power consumption is an important criteria to decide which air purifier to buy.
The InvisiClean Claro can run as low as only 3 watts, but you must turn off all additional features to achieve this power consumption. On turbo mode, the rated power can go as high as 55 watts, but I believe this power consumption is still a lot reasonable.
If you run the InvisiClean Claro for 8 hours each day, you only need to pay $1 – $20 each year.

InvisiClean Claro Additional Features
I have told you about the wonder LED display of InvisiClean Claro, right? It will show you not only the actual indoor air quality, but also the humidity and temperature of your room.
To track the air quality, the InvisiClean Claro uses an air sensor, specially made by Sharp, one of the leaders in worldwide air purifier manufacturers. This Smart Sensor is able to detect any changes in air quality, and adjusts the fan power automatically to match what’s needed to clean your air. This process will help keep this air purifier mostly in lowest speed, to save the energy better, as well as reduce the noise.
There is also one Sleep Mode (to help turn off the display), one Turbo Mode and a basic Timer in this InvisiClean Claro, like any other air purifiers in this family. You will have one LED indicator for filter replacement, too.
InvisiClean Claro Customer Service
InvisiClean focuses not only on the air purifier manufacturing, but also the great customer service. You will receive your products in 1-5 business days. And all orders placed before 8 AM Pacific Time (Monday through Friday) will be shipped in the same day. For international shipping, InvisiClean only deliver to Canada.
If you need support, you can contact them via email at Contact page or at 818-787-1188 via phone. Their working days are from Monday to Friday.
Finally, once you want to refund their products if unused or defective merchandise, you can contact within 30 day to proceed the return, but remember that you will be charged 15% as the stocking fee. The return process will take 10 to 14 days. They also provide a 3-year warranty for all air purifier products.
The InvisiClean Claro is ready to jump into a bigger pond, which is also the most competitive one. It has great performance, while keeping the ozone emission as safe as possible with its all-round air filtration system. The fan power is upgraded, though not so much, it is considerable enough to deal with larger rooms. And I bet you will fall for its LED display, which gives you more information about your indoor air than lots of players right now.
Still, at its current price, the InvisiClean Claro isn’t a good option.
InvisiClean Claro just gets the same ranking as its brothers.
