LivePure is the very original name of air purifiers from Hunter, until the big corporation has slapped their name in the old units. So the LivePure Apsen is actually the Hunter HP700, and that’s why if you favor the big guns, you shouldn’t skip this air purifier. Okay, it’s time for the LivePure Apsen LP350TH Review.

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Price
The LivePure Apsen LP350TH comes at a nice price, but is so low-tech we can’t imagine who its audience is. Yes, being a Hunter HP700 in a different name, the LivePure Apsen doesn’t have any additional features to compete with the most aggressively competitive segment.
LivePure has dared to add the high fan power to their air purifiers. It is highly recommended because most users demand the high performance rather than the fancy features of an air purifier. I say dared because for this bargain basement price, it is something of a surprise to find an unknown air purifier with such fan power, and it’s slightly more expensive to manufacture.
The trouble with the budget high performance air purifiers, however, is that they can’t afford to feature the air sensors. When the Coway AP-1512HH, Sharp FP-K50UW or Winix 5500-2 have a reduced price, the LivePure Apsen will certainly be “absent”.
On official LivePure website, the LivePure Apsen LP350TH is $199, which is $50 cheaper than the Hunter counterpart. You can get the air purifier for as low as $169, if you follow our below deal.
It is a good competitor with the Filtrete FAP-T03BA-G2, since this Filtrete air purifier doesn’t have Smart Sensor, either. Other devices like Bissell air220 or Vornado AC550 can be picked more often, especially when their fan powers are nearly similar to the LivePure Apsen.

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Design and Size
Just like the LivePure Sierra LP260TH and LivePure Bali LP550TH, the LivePure Apsen is the same model as one Hunter air purifier. In this case, you can check the Hunter HP700.
In fact, if you skip the new front cover plate, the LivePure Apsen is simply the Hunter HP700. It has the same height of 25.7 inches and same width of 13.4 inches. It has two color options, too: Black and White.
The console air purifier is big for its size, but thanks to the aesthetic front plate, it is quite compact to use in your room. LivePure Apsen LP350TH runs a common bottom-to-top air flow system concept, which is suitable for any console air purifiers with high fan power.
It is also a bit heavier than other competitors at 14 lbs. However, I guess you can still lift and move it quite easily.

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Filters
Again, LivePure mentions only 2 stages of their air filtration system, and they don’t talk about the “EcoSilver” pre-filter, which is signature of the Hunter devices.
- Activated Carbon Filter – This coconut carbon filter neutralizes harmful VOCs and household odors from cooking, cleaning, smoking and pets. It also reduces the large dust that can contact the HEPA filter.
- True HEPA filter – LivePure Apsen LP350TH has a True HEPA filter to remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns including smoke, dust, pollen, pet hair and dander, mold spores and dust mite debris.
In the test of LivePure Apsen LP350TH, I let it run in a room of 200 square feet for 1 hour. The air purifier had a decent performance, as it can clean 99.9% of all airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns I threw at it. Though if you look further in the competition, other air purifiers like the AIRMEGA 200M or Filtrete FAP-T03BA-G2 were better, and you shouldn’t skip the Bissell air400.
You need to use the air filter LP-HF350 for the LivePure Apsen, which is recommended to change every 6 months for maximum efficiency.

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Room Coverage
As a console air purifier, the LivePure Apsen can clean a much larger room than the tower LivePure Sierra LP260TH. For people who have more space to clean, the LivePure Apsen is highly recommended as it can clean up to 315 square feet.
The ACH of LivePure Apsen LP350TH is 5X. This air purifier can clean up to 10 times per hour in a room of 100 square feet.
The CADR of LivePure Apsen LP350TH is 240 Dust/ 203 Smoke/ 268 Pollen (cfm).

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Sound
Average use of the LivePure Apsen LP350TH is as quietly as possible, with the lowest speed being only 33 decibels (db). The air purifier is even quieter than the LivePure Sierra LP260TH or Hunter HP600 with weaker fan power.
More impressively, the noise level of the LivePure Apsen on highest speed is just 52 decibels. It is also just like the white noise, and you won’t be annoyed with such sound level.

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
Unlike its brothers, the LivePure Sierra LP260TH and LivePure Bali, the LivePure Apsen LP350TH is the only one without Energy Star registration. It is still good at power consumption of 50 watts, which is similar to the Hunter HP700.
If you run the LivePure Apsen LP350TH for 8 hours per day, the annual cost is just $18.

LivePure Apsen LP350TH Additional Features
LivePure Apsen LP350TH doesn’t add much for the additional features from the previous LivePure Sierra LP260TH. It doesn’t have any air sensor, and I could say it is a bit outdated for the market.
Well, perhaps the basic fan settings are enough for any common use. For example, it has a Timer setting, to schedule the time off after 2, 4 or 8 hours. The LED indicator for filter replacement is also useful, so you don’t need to remember the date manually.
Depends on your needs, any smart air purifiers like the Levoit LV-PUR131S, Medify MA-Smart or even TruSens Z-2000 with Smart Sensor are more appropriate. But hey, they all have weaker performance in comparison with the LivePure Apsen LP350TH in large rooms.

Our verdict
Just like the Hunter HP700, the LivePure Apsen LP350TH is favorable for its low price, and it gets a good grade for what it costs you. However, it doesn’t have additional features, and when the popular devices get the lower price, I can’t find its audience anymore.
