Other LivePure’s Air Purifier Reviews:
LivePure Bali LP550TH Price
The LivePure Bali LP550TH is the original device, not the Hunter HP800. It happens with the LivePure Apsen LP350TH and LivePure Sierra LP260TH instead of Hunter HP600 and Hunter HP700. So, if you want an air purifier that comes with a lower mid-range price but some truly original power, you shouldn’t skip the LivePure Bali.
LivePure Bali LP550TH is so great that even Hunter doesn’t need to change anything for their own Hunter HP800. You still get a reliable air purifier with high fan power and a highly affordable price. Well, the LivePure Bali LP550TH is $299 on LivePure official website, and I believe it’s $50 cheaper than the Hunter counterpart.
Compared with top air purifiers in this price range like the Sharp FP-A80UW, Airthereal AGH550 and Bissell air320, the LivePure Bali has enough fan power to contest. However, it doesn’t have the fancy Smart Sensor, so users need to change the fan power manually.

LivePure Bali LP550TH Design and Size
You can easily find two identical air purifiers with different names on the market, but as an air purifier certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), the LivePure Bali LP550TH is exactly the original version, and the Hunter HP800 continues its success.
Some manufacturers look to squeeze in a higher-end component or two to make their air purifier stand out, while others focus on a more premium design. The LivePure Bali LP550TH just comes up with a classic design, but it is enough to support its high fan power.
You will get a simple device using bottom-to-top air flow system concept, and it has a large air inlet grill (instead of sealing like in the LivePure Apsen or LivePure Sierra). In fact, the design is so good that the Hunter HP800 is exactly identical to this device, something that Hunter doesn’t do with the previous Hunter HP600 and Hunter HP700.
Don’t forget that you can change the color option in any LivePure air purifiers. The LivePure Bali has black, white and graphite color options, and I recommend you to check the below graphite color option.
This is also the biggest air purifier of the family, as it is 25 inches in height and 20.75 inches in width. It is so big that its weight is 25.5 lbs, and I don’t recommend you to lift it up often.

LivePure Bali LP550TH Filters
The LivePure Bali LP550TH remains the traditional 2-stage air cleaning system from its family.
- Activated Carbon Filter – This coconut carbon filter neutralizes harmful VOCs and household odors from cooking, cleaning, smoking and pets. It also reduces the large dust that can contact the HEPA filter.
- True HEPA filter – LivePure Bali LP550TH has a True HEPA filter to remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns including smoke, dust, pollen, pet hair and dander, mold spores and dust mite debris.
I tested the LivePure Bali LP550TH exactly like the Hunter HP800, as the air purifier needed to perform in a room of 300 square feet. The air purifier was a beast, and it can clean 99.92% of all airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns in just 1 hour. It matched the performance of the Vornado PCO575DC, and it was better than the GermGuardian AC9200WCA, TruSens Z-3000 or LG PuriCare AS401VSA0.
For the LivePure Bali LP550TH, you will use the air filter LP-HF550, and it can last for 6 months.

LivePure Bali LP550TH Room Coverage
The multi-room whole house large console LivePure Bali air purifier lives up to its name, as it can easily cover 600 square feet or larger.
The ACH of LivePure Bali LP550TH is 5X. This air purifier can even clean 1500 square feet with 2X ACH, so it is really powerful for its actual cost.
The CADR of LivePure Bali LP550TH is 295 Dust/ 323 Smoke/ 358 Pollen (cfm). The air purifier is certified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) and Energy Star, so you can trust in its specifications.

LivePure Bali LP550TH Sound
The best part? The LivePure Bali LP550TH is powerful but it is really quiet. On lowest fan speed, the noise level is only 33 decibels (db), just like its brothers: LivePure Apsen and LivePure Sierra. It is basically the whisper, and you won’t notice any sound from this setting.
On highest speed, the noise level can reach 54 decibels, and I must admit this is the quietest sound level for an air purifier with such high CADR rating.

LivePure Bali LP550TH Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
The LivePure Bali LP550TH is an Energy Star air purifier, so you don’t need to worry about its power consumption. Its power consumption is 97 watts, so the real-world CADR rating per watt is a bit lower than the Hunter HP800.
If you run the LivePure Bali LP550TH for 8 hours per day, the annual cost is $35.

LivePure Bali LP550TH Additional Features
If LivePure Bali LP550TH gets all the high-end smart features, it could be a total flagship-killer for its price. However, the air purifier doesn’t have any air sensor or Wi-Fi capability. Just like the Hunter HP800, it doesn’t have what power users demand.
As the flagship of the company, the LivePure Bali includes all basic settings covered by the previous models. You will have a Sleep Mode together with Accent Light feature, which makes the device a good nightlight.
There is also a Timer setting, to schedule the time off for 2, 4 or 8 hours. LivePure Bali features a LED indicator for filter replacement, which is useful in reminding you when to change the air filter.
LivePure Bali LP550TH Customer Service
LivePure delivers a 6-year warranty for the motor and 1-year warranty for the parts of their air purifiers. It is one additional year if you compare with the Hunter.
For any questions, you should contact LivePure at 888-855-5426 or email@example.com. They are happy to help you.
LivePure Bali LP550TH is still great because it is even cheaper than the Hunter HP800, while coating an identical appearance and boasting the same performance. But just like the Hunter counterpart, it lacks a lot of high-end features, and for a mid-range price, it is a complete defeat.
- Cleaning Power
- Power Consumption
Overall the LivePure Bali LP550TH is powerful, but it lacks so many common high-end features for a mid-range price.
