- Low value for the price
Well, Inofia is not a big brand and their website is made poorly. I can’t get much info about the company behind the name of Inofia, but I believe their mattresses are quite popular in the United Kingdom. In our country, however, the mattresses and air purifiers don’t get the same attention. Let’s check our first Inofia PM1619 Review, and see if you should buy this product or not.
Other Inofia’s Air Purifier Reviews:
Inofia PM1619 Price
The Inofia PM1619 is the lowest budget air purifier in the lineup of this company. It’s not something we can’t imagine, as it resembles the classic air purifier from many big brands in the world. It is a smart move for the Chinese manufacturer, as they don’t need to spend money for research and development.
That being said, the Inofia PM1619 will be an air purifier with ease of use, though. It’s out to help you run the device as smoothly as possible, without a-mile-long manual to instruct. In fact, you will skip most of the manuals, right?
But the price? This Inofia PM1619 costs you $179 for a product that no one knows the origin, and if you read the review fully, you can confirm that the device is quite expensive for the actual value. This is perhaps not a like-for-like competitor to any air purifiers in the same price range, like Levoit LV-PUR131, Winix 5500-2, Medify MA-18 or AeraMax 300 with its performance. Even for a cheaper price, the Levoit Core 300 or VEVA 8000 Elite Pro are a lot better.
Even among the Chinese manufacturers, you can choose the Hathaspace Smart True HEPA Air Purifier or Elechomes UC3101, with a lot better efficiency of trapping contaminants. Perhaps, you now understand why Inofia removes the Inofia PM1619 out of their website completely.

Inofia PM1619 Design and Size
The Inofia PM1619’s design isn’t original, it resembles the Alen BreatheSmart FLEX or GermGuardian AC5900WCA too much. Sadly, it isn’t as attractive as the aforementioned air purifiers, because the white color is pale and boring. The body is made of plastic as usual, and you can’t expect this air purifier to be premium in such low-range.
The size of this air purifier is average, too, with the height of 23 inches and the width of 11 inches. It weighs 18 lbs, which is heavier than most of the air purifiers are sold in market like Winix P300 or InvisiClean Aura. Heavy weight makes the device solid, but it is really a pain in the neck for moving.
The Inofia PM1619 sports the popular bottom-to-top air flow system concept in console air purifiers, with the air inlet under the front cover. In my opinion, I would like the front cover to have a space with the air grill, so it won’t obstruct the flow of the pollutants. Well, we don’t have such good thing.

Inofia PM1619 Filters
When we check the performance of an air purifier, we need to know about the air filter types, as well as the quantity and quality of these air filters inside the device. As a common air purifier, we only have a 2-stage air cleaning system in the Inofia PM1619 as below.
- True HEPA filter – First, all the contaminants will contact the HEPA filter, which removes 99.97% of all airborne particles down to 0.3 microns such as dust, dust mites, pet hair, pet dander, pollen and mold spores.
- Activated Carbon filter – With the layer of carbon filter, this air purifier can adsorb the odors and smells from kitchen, pet and smoke.
The air filtration system of Inofia PM1619 is quite typical, with only two popular air filters. While testing the performance of the HEPA filter from Inofia PM1619, I put it in a room of only 100 square feet, and let it run for 1 hour. I chose the Coway AP-1216L, Honeywell 50250-S and AeraMax 200 as the candidates to compare the efficiency with our today unit. The result, Coway AP-1216L and Honeywell 50250-S surpassed others with the score of 99.97%, for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns. Our Inofia PM1619 was only 99.7%, which was lower than even the $99 air purifiers like Levoit Core 300 or GermGuardian AC4825.
The HEPA filter of Inofia PM1619 can also be found on the most popular retailers like Amazon. They suggest to replace the filter every 3 to 6 months, which makes the upfront cost of around $39 quite expensive. Air filters from other air purifier brands can last for at least 6 months, and the cost is always lower than our today unit.

Inofia PM1619 Room Coverage
It could be the marketing strategy of this company, but boasting the room coverage is always something that I don’t like. The manufacturer told to use the Inofia PM1619 in a room of 600 square feet, but I doubt it can perform well in even a room of half the area Inofia suggested.
The ACH of Inofia PM1619 is 2X to 4X. Our today unit can clean your room once every 15 minutes at the maximum fan speed.
The CADR of Inofia PM1619 is 110 cfm in general. This CADR rating is even lower than the $99 air purifiers like Levoit Core 300 or VEVA 8000 Elite Pro, and thinking an air purifier like this Inofia PM1619 to work in a 600-sq-ft room is too naive.

Inofia PM1619 Sound
The positive side to have an Inofia PM1619 is its top-level quiet operation. Low fan power might prove a lower noise level for the air purifier, and it is exactly the case of our today unit. Quiet operation is also the best approach for the Chinese air purifier companies, because most of the products don’t have the high-quality fan inside.
Inofia PM1619 can go as low as 27 decibels, which is even quieter than the whisper. Practically, you won’t notice the sound of this air purifier in lower settings.
You can turn the air purifier to the maximum fan speed, and the noise level is only 48 decibels (db), and I believe this is the lowest noise level for the highest fan speed of one air purifier.
That’s why you can use the air purifier anywhere without worrying about the noise level.

Inofia PM1619 Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
The power consumption of this Inofia PM1619 is only 4 watts under the Sleep Mode. There are no day-to-day issue for your energy bill, because the rated power of this device can go as high as only 60 watts. It is acceptable, but for a device with low fan power, I think it is a bit higher than normal.
If you run the Inofia PM1619 for at least 8 hours per day, you will need to pay $22 each year.

Inofia PM1619 Additional Features
The low-end device of Inofia family doesn’t have the high-end features like the flagship Inofia PM1539 or Inofia PM1608. Well, even a more affordable option can grant you better additional features, like the Airthereal APH260.
You only have one customized Sleep Mode, to cut the sound of this air purifier to the lowest. It will turn on a night mode, and turn off other indicator lights.
There are also basic functions for this Inofia PM1619, like the Timer or LED indicator for filter replacement. For a device with price tag of $179, at least we want to have some helpful features to use, right?
Inofia PM1619 Customer Service
Though the Inofia website is not well-designed, it is pretty useful to check all the information for your customer service.
Inofia is only a small air purifier brand, but they can offer you with standard delivery service. You can track your order using Inofia website, and actually, we would want to know when and where to receive our products, then this additional service is great.
Of course, you can contact them anytime via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or live chat with them directly for any further issues. The air purifier comes with a 60-day money back guarantee, as well as a great 2-year warranty. It seems Inofia really commits to deliver the friendly and fast support for the best shopping experience of customers.
Well, I can’t recommend to use the Inofia PM1619 in this price range. It has low fan power, also lower-quality air filters and above all, it gives not much value for its price. There are still some good reasons to buy this air purifier, but if you have time, you should check for another device.
