Much of my early time with the VEVA 8000 Elite Pro was spent warily turning it around and looking at it, like some kind of mysterious artifact of unknown origin, not quite ready to believe what was being promised of it. There has to be some compromise here, right?

Usually when a cheap air purifier boasts specifications that bloody the noses of the big boys, it’s the design that suffers. The VEVA 8000 Elite Pro is made mostly from plastic, and though the black color looks quite premium, we can easily feel this air purifier as a cheap one.

Thankfully, the air purifier is compact. Our today VEVA 8000 Elite Pro is only 23 inches in height, and the width of its base is only 9 inches. You should put this air purifier on hard surface, so it can operate properly.

But its air flow system concept is really absurd, as the VEVA 8000 Elite Pro uses the inverted front-to-back system, and you will enjoy the fresh air from the back of this air purifier. I must refuse to like this concept idea, as I can’t put this air purifier near me to direct the fresh air toward me. So far, the back-to-front concept is still the most proper one for a tower air purifier, like in the GermGuardian AC4825 or Whirlpool WPT60.
