The Inofia PM1539 supplies a little AIRMEGA 300S concept magic at half of the price, but with limited performance of a lower-quality air filter, the air purifier is still in question if it’s worth your money or not. It’s the Amazon’s Choice for Inofia air purifier, though, and in our today Inofia PM1539 Review, we will see how the Inofia air purifier with True HEPA filter and Wi-Fi intelligent control can make impact in the air purifier world.
However, since all of Inofia air purifiers have been disappeared instantly in the market, perhaps we should come back to the AIRMEGA 400 and AIRMEGA 300. Even the new Levoit Core 600S does much better in everything in comparison to the old Inofia air purifiers.
Updated: The today Inofia PM1539 isn’t the best Inofia air purifier up-to-date, due to the appearance of the newer Inofia PM1608. Inofia even brings their latest product to be tested and certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to meet electrical safety and limited ozone emissions.
In Breathe Quality, we have reviewed all air purifiers under these sections. Also, we guarantee that:
- We do give honest reviews (both pros and cons) so anyone will guarantee to have the wisest choices.
- We do not (and never) exaggerate one product just to let you click the links and buy that product blindly.
Sections
- New composite air filter, easy to use
- Smart design for more air input

- High annual filter cost
Inofia is a Chinese company for air purifier, and we have little information about the company. The brand appears to be more popular in the UK, as they sell mattresses and pillow with decent value, too. However, in our country, the Inofia products are still big question that need an answer for quality. Inofia PM1539 is the first smart air purifier to be brought to the US’s air purifier market, and you can only find it on Amazon. Okay, let’s get back to our Inofia PM1539 Review.
Other Inofia’s Air Purifier Reviews:
Inofia PM1539 Price
The Inofia PM1539 is, no doubt, the cheaper version of the well-known AIRMEGA 300S. It borrows the concept of design, as well as the well-known idea of composite all-in-one air filter from the Coway device. Maybe the Chinese company attempts to trickle down a little of the glamour and panache from higher up the range, but the actual machine still feels cheap.
Compare to the Inofia PM1619 and Inofia PM1320, the mid-range Inofia PM1539 will have better fan power. Add to that lots of great smart features to even compete against the competitors from Winix or Blueair, the Inofia PM1539 starts to look a lot like a middleweight contender for the new all-in-one generation.
While it has many features to be a great product, it is still from a lesser manufacturer. The Inofia PM1539 costs you $299, but it is, for an unknown reason, removed from the official Inofia US website. So, you may find the price varied from other supplier, and I have a deal for this air purifier below in case you need.
With Smart features, the Inofia PM1539 can go toe-to-toe with the Winix HR1000 or Blueair Classic 205. This air purifier also has such high fan power that even matches the top performers in the segment like Blue Pure 211 or Medify MA-40.
Inofia air purifier with True HEPA air filter, air cleaner for large room, for spaces up to 800 sq ft, PM1320.
Manufacturer’s suggestion for up to 1056 square feet. Comes with 5 fan speeds and many smart features.

Inofia PM1539 Design and Size
If the previous Inofia PM1320 takes inspiration from the design concept of Honeywell HPA300, our today Inofia PM1539 can’t deny the imitation from AIRMEGA 300. The best Inofia PM1608 of this brand, again, will take the AIRMEGA 400 as the target to copy from.
Imitating other well-known air purifier brand is not a bad thing, especially when the Inofia PM1539 still has some notable differences. It remains the same height from the predecessors, to be 23 inches, and as a result, the Inofia PM1539 is a little bit bigger than the AIRMEGA model.
For the most part, the Inofia PM1539 is different enough to tell it apart from the original design concept. The legs are kept shorter, and this air purifier comes with a front white panel, instead of the famous 360° air intake. It may sacrifice some performance in air input, but with its dual-side air intake like Blueair Classic 605 and high fan power, there’s no issue with day-to-day performance.
On top of this air purifier, we will have the air outlet. It has a familiar resemblance to the high-end product, and I think it makes the device more beautiful. In the front filter cover, there is one display screen to show you the indoor air quality status, the fan speed, current temperature and humidity and many other setting (more on which in the “additional features” section).
Inofia PM1539 weighs 23 lbs, which is suitable for its internals.

Inofia PM1539 Filters
When we check the performance of an air purifier, we need to know about the air filter types, as well as the quantity and quality of these air filters inside the device. The Inofia PM1539 uses an all-in-one composite filter, described as below.
- Composite filter – A combination of both Activated Carbon filter and True HEPA filter, this filter can both capture up to 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns in size, such as dust, hair, pollen, mold spores, dander and bacteria. It can also adsorb smoke, odors and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
Today, we prefer to use the all-in-one air filter, as it helps remove the annoying and complex filter replacement process. The cost of an all-in-one air filter is always less than the sum cost of all air filters.

Most importantly, the Inofia PM1539 is capable of larger room size than its predecessors. I made a test for this Inofia PM1539 in a room of 300 square feet, and let it run in 1 hour. I also put the Winix U450 and even an Oransi Max to compare with the performance of Inofia PM1539. The result, the Winix U450 was the winner with high fan power and better air filtration system, can remove 99.95% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Our today Inofia PM1539 can only score 99.85%, and I expect more on one air purifier with such fan power.
Again, in the U.S, you can only buy the filter replacement from the most popular retailers like Amazon. The air filter needs to be replaced every 3 to 6 months, meaning it has a shorter life span than most others.

Inofia PM1539 Room Coverage
Again, the Chinese manufacturer suggested to use their air purifier in an extra-large room. The Inofia PM1539 is recommended to use for a space of 1056 square feet.
The ACH of Inofia PM1539 is 2X to 4X. This air purifier can clean your room as frequent as 15 minutes.
The CADR of Inofia PM1539 is 330 cfm in general. This CADR rating is double that of the previous Inofia PM1320, showing a great effort in making air purifier with higher performance. It can pull off more air into the air purifier with such CADR rating, but it can’t help the actual quality of air filter.

Inofia PM1539 Sound
The Inofia PM1539 is, again, very good at keeping the noise level as low as possible. In an air purifier with higher fan power, normally the noise it produces will be louder. However, the Inofia PM1539 can run with the lowest noise level of only 27 decibels, which is the level of the whisper.
With 5 fan speeds, you can run this air purifier at highest setting with the noise level of only 52 decibels (db). Honestly, I am really impressed with this noise level. You can easily run the Inofia PM1539 in any places required the silence.

Inofia PM1539 Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
Well, the Inofia PM1539 will need more power to keep its fan power, and the rated power will be 65 watts at the highest setting. It is not too high for an air purifier with such power, but you should bear in mind that Inofia PM1539 doesn’t have the Energy Star rating.
If you run the Inofia PM1539 for at least 8 hours per day, you will need to pay $25 each year.

Inofia PM1539 Additional Features
Inofia PM1539 is truly the first air purifier with Wi-Fi intelligent control of this brand, but to be fair, the Wi-Fi control through connected app is quite bad to use. There are many reviews complained that they can’t access the air purifier via Wi-Fi, and though my testing unit doesn’t have such problem, you should check this function carefully.
We will have a more handy Smart Sensor to aid the Inofia PM1539 in running smarter. The air sensor can detect any changes in the indoor air quality, and with the Auto Mode on, this air purifier can respond by automatically adjust the fan speed. You will no longer need to control your air purifier manually.
The LED display indicator can also show you the current temperature and humidity of your room, as well as the wind speed status. You will find other basic settings from Inofia like a customized Sleep Mode, to reduce the noise level to the lowest, as well as turn off all the lights from indicator. There are also the basic Timer and LED indicator for filter replacement.

Though the Inofia website is not well-designed, it is pretty useful to check all the information for your customer service.

Inofia air purifier with True HEPA air filter, air cleaner for large room, for spaces up to 800 sq ft, PM1320.
Manufacturer’s suggestion for up to 1056 square feet. Comes with 5 fan speeds and many smart features.
Our verdict
Inofia PM1539 is more likely an affordable option for AIRMEGA 300S, but considering the often drop in price from the well-known Korean air purifier brand, you will consider the high-end device more. More or less, the Inofia PM1539 is still a good air purifier, with high fan power and decent-quality air filter. The Wi-Fi capability and Smart Sensor are nice to have, but they are not an outstanding feature in this price range anymore.
