Airthereal APH320 Price
The Airthereal APH320 is certainly what the company has wanted to release for a long time. It is the essential upgrade that makes the signature Airthereal APH260 a smart air purifier. For the most part, the only thing stopping us from outright calling it the APH260 Mark II is its name. How can you think of “APH320” as the “APH260 Plus”?
Perhaps the reason is that Airthereal wants to increase the overall price of the Airthereal APH320. It is indeed more expensive than the old APH260, at $139. For the first time, a “Pure Morning” model is as pricey as a “Glory Day” model, the new Airthereal AGH400.
The Airthereal APH320 certainly aims to compete head-on with the best products in this price range: the Levoit Vital 100S, Levoit Core 300S, and Blue Pure 511i Max. Well, the Airthereal APH320 has more potential than the old APH260, and we believe it could go toe-to-toe with these top performers.

Airthereal APH320 Design and Size
Compared to the Airthereal APH260, the Airthereal APH320 has a matte black color option instead of white, which is quite ridiculous when it is still considered a “Pure Morning” air purifier. Perhaps it would be best for Airthereal to think of a different name.
Other than the new color option, the Airthereal APH320 has the same design and similar air inlets and outlets as the Airthereal APH260. The unchanged design is another thing that makes the Airthereal APH320 less appealing, because we have the new Airthereal AGH400 with an actually new design while maintaining similar performance to the console-style Airthereal APH320.
The Airthereal APH320 keeps the same dimensions as its predecessor, with the same shape, form, and 6.7″D x 13″W x 21.2″H footprint. The only noticeable difference is the top control panel, with the Airthereal APH320 certainly having more buttons because it has more features.

Airthereal APH320 Filters
Normally, we will check the quality and quantity of the air filters to decide its performance, as well as the air filter types being used. The Airthereal APH320 is basically the same Airthereal APH260 with its 5-stage air cleaning system.

We have the original concept of an Airthereal air purifier, with high performance and multi-stage air cleaning system. The Airthereal APH320 has all of the air filter types that are commonly used in air purifiers, thus it can deal with a wide range of airborne pollutants.
And yes, the Airthereal APH320 seems to deliver better results than the old APH260, as it was tested under more challenging conditions by Breathe Quality. It achieved 99.99%, a perfect result for an air purifier at any price point. It is comparable to the Frigidaire PureA300 and Frigidaire PureA300 XL, both of them are verified by the AHAM.

One thing you should note is that the new Airthereal H13 HEPA filter costs $39 and lasts 8 months. You can buy a two-pack at a better discount, bringing the annual filter cost to about $55.

Airthereal APH320 Room Coverage
Airthereal has two suggestions for the Airthereal APH320, with the first being 475 square feet for 4 air changes per hour, and the second being 1,500 square feet. We recommend to stick with the first suggestion.
The ACH of the Airthereal APH320 is 4X. It will clean the suggested room size every 15 minutes.
The CADR of the Airthereal APH320 is 188 cfm in general.

Airthereal APH320 Sound
It seems the Airthereal APH320 isn’t fully made from the Airthereal APH260. Its new fan power can keep the lowest noise level at only 22 decibels (dB), better than its predecessor.
On its highest speed, the air purifier has the similar noise level at 49 dB. Being a more powerful air purifier than the APH260, it is a clear improvement for the Airthereal APH320.

Airthereal APH320 Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
As an older product, the Airthereal APH320 asks for more power, with its power consumption of 60 watts. If you’re looking for the modern Airthereal device with better rated power, you should check the Airthereal AGH400.
If you run the Airthereal APH320 for 8 hours per day, it would cost you $26.3 each year, far more than the Airthereal AEH300.

Airthereal APH320 Additional Features
Airthereal is claiming its AIR.ai app for the Airthereal APH320 first, before implementing on the Airthereal AGH400. The app is quite simple, but it gets the job done, as you can remote control the unit, set the timer, and check the filter life.
The Smart Sensor remains a strength of Airthereal air purifiers, offering both numerical and LED-based AQI readings. The best part is that you can activate Auto mode to automatically adjust the fan speed based on the current indoor air quality.
Finally, we have Child lock setting, a Sleep mode, and LED indicator for filter replacement.
