Airthereal APH230C Filters

It seems Airthereal is looking for more air purifiers with 100% ozone-free, as both of the new products continue using only mechanical filters, just like how the Airthereal ADH80 and Airthereal ADH50B did previously. This Airthereal APH230C uses a simple 3-stage air cleaning system, with marketing material to be “7-in-1 HEPA filter”.

3. Activated Carbon filter – The real power of Airthereal air purifiers is inside the carbon filter, as a combination of Nano mineral, Cold catalyst, Photo catalyst and Molecular Sieve carbon. It will adsorb the odors, chemicals and smoke from the indoor air.

Airthereal APH230C straightly removes the ionizer and UV-C light filter from the very first Airthereal APH260, so it won’t emit any ozone during the running time. Though the CARB certification is pending, I believe it is just a matter of time.

This company still calls their new product “7-in-1 HEPA filter”, as the Airthereal APH230C runs a high-end honeycombed Activated Carbon filter, with Nano mineral, Cold catalyst, Photo catalyst and Molecular Sieve carbon inside. With the high-end carbon filter, the Airthereal APH230C performed extremely well in the same test as its Pure Morning brother, in the same area of 150 square feet. The result, its efficiency of trapping any particles as small as 0.3 microns is 99.9%, which is better than many Chinese air purifiers like Okaysou AirMic4S, Mooka Allo or Elechomes EPI236.

However, don’t make a sad face, because Airthereal APH230C is designed to fit any bedrooms with its Sleep Mode. This isn’t a Light Dimmer setting, but it reduces the fan power to the lowest level. In addition, a basic Timer can schedule the time of for this air purifier after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.

This air purifier should be the next best air purifier for baby, just like its previous brother, as it has the Child lock to prevent any changes of settings, made accidentally by your children or pets.
