I’m pretty sure that this Airthereal ADH50B will be the strongest competitor to the Levoit LV-H126 and Hamilton Beach 04384, which has been the most picked air purifier in this price range for a long time.

Airthereal ADH50B Design and Size

With the Airthereal ADH50B, Airthereal moves away from the common design concept of the previous Airthereal ADH80. As expected, the cylindrical shape is removed, and this company brings to us a rectangular prism one.

As you can see, the most affordable Airthereal ADH50B can trap only 99.3% any particles down to 0.3 microns in 1 hour. Others ranged from 99.5% to 99.9%.

For a portable air purifier using 360° cylindrical air filter like Airthereal ADH50B, you should change the filter every 6-8 months. The replacement filter set of Day Dawning ADH50B is the cheapest in Airthereal family, and you only need $15 for each set.

The lowest noise level that I’ve measured from this Airthereal ADH50B is only 22 decibels (db). It is just like the sound of the rustling leaves, and you won’t hear anything from its lowest speed for sure. Even on highest speed, the noise level is only 40 decibels, which is exactly the noise level on library.

So far, this is one of the most silent air purifier I’ve tested in Breathe Quality.

Airthereal ADH50B Power Consumption

One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
