Actually, if you wonder the comparison between the Airfree Iris 3000 and Onix 3000, I would like to inform you that there aren’t many differences. Versus the original P3000, our today Airfree Iris 3000 only comes with a multi-color nightlight function on the top lid.

So to say, when unplugging, the Airfree Iris 3000 and Onix 3000 are two peas in a pod. They share every outside element, from the same height of 10.4 inches, same weight of 3.3 lbs to the very core design concept.

We will have the same bottom-to-top air flow system concept in this Airfree Iris 3000. It’s also the most usable air flow direction to make the Airfree air purifiers work. Basically, the Airfree Iris 3000 is not a regular air purifier. It doesn’t use the fan as a mean to pull in the air, while the CADR rating indicates volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner, which is not designed for Airfree air purifiers. Also, the device needs to run gradually for uninterrupted cycle of air, so there is no ACH rating, either.

Actually, we have some CADR rating specs online for the Airfree Iris 3000, which appears to be 325 Dust/ 315 Smoke/ 401 Pollen (cfm). However, I must underline that all AHAM ratings are not applied for the Airfree air purifiers, which don’t have fan power.

Airfree Iris 3000 Sound

Without any fan power, the Airfree Iris 3000 is completely silent. You won’t notice or hear any sound from this air purifier. In fact, you don’t even know if the air purifier is working or not. Airfree suggests to check the top lid and see if it’s warm, the air purifier is working perfectly.
