Pure Enrichment is anchored as an air purifier in low-range segment, and with the PureZone Halo, they finally have a device that can continue to compete in $50-ish range. In our today Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Review, you will know one more great budget air purifier at the moment.
Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Price
The Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo is clearly meant to be a budget air purifier, even if you don’t know the price of this thing, you can guess easily both by the brand orientation and the size of the compact air purifier.
As I mentioned before, the Pure Enrichment strictly follows the low-budget path, as all of their previous air purifiers have low price tag, the Pure Enrichment PureZone and PureZone Elite. They are all for those who want a little bit of better air filtration in their lives, or just want an air purifier that’s not terrible, but for a decent price. And if the cost of the PureZone Halo is low enough then this could well be a success.
So it does, the price of this Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo launches at $89, and you will find a much more affordable deal in our website right below. Or you can check the new PureZone Breeze, for a more discounted price.
To be as low as this point, the PureZone Halo is clearly the perfect opponent of the Levoit LV-H132, AeraMax 100 or the new Honeywell HPA020B. They all have the same certified True HEPA filter for the price, as well as enough features to hold the ground. So, what is your decision? If you haven’t made up your mind yet, please continue with our review.

Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Design and Size
Unlike the previous PureZone, the PureZone Halo tries to shrink the size even more. Its height is only 10 inches, and you can even put this air purifier on desk for personal use. It is also suggested to use on tabletop in dorm rooms, offices, and small bedrooms.
However, the PureZone Halo doesn’t feel too light or cheap when you see it, nor with a boring color, which is often a sign of good quality build. The spherical shape is truly a new taste, which quite resembles the high-end IQAir Atem, but the budget device that resembles the PureZone Halo the most is the Envion Therapure EA150.
The new design concept is perfect for an old bottom-to-top air flow system concept. The air intake grill is hidden under the front plate, both to improve the effectiveness of the low fan speed and show the beauty of PureZone Halo to the users. On top, as usual, we have an air outlet which is stylized to match the overall concept.
We found the simple control panel on top of this PureZone Halo, which has only 4 buttons side by side.
Most importantly, the weight of this PureZone Halo is only 5.5 lbs – the weight of two pineapples. Well, you can pick it up with you anywhere, right?

Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Filters
Normally, we don’t expect much from a low-range air purifier to have high performance, or high-quality air filtration system to be superior. The Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo is a simple air purifier with only 2-stage air cleaning system as below.
- Activated Carbon Filter – This Activated Carbon filter is the necessary filter to adsorb formaldehyde, benzene and other noxious gases, odors and smokes.
- True HEPA filter – A True HEPA Filter can reduce 99.97% of down to 0.3 microns all contaminant particles like dust, dust mites, pollen, pet dander or even mold spores.
This is the staple air filtration system for low-range devices, with an Activated Carbon filter acting as a pre-filter, following up by a real True HEPA filter. However, this is not the True HEPA filter being used in the original PureZone, and with less filter media, it has a lower efficiency against common airborne pollutants.
To test the performance of this PureZone Halo, I used the same test as the previous model, in a room of 100 square feet and under 1 hour. I chose the Blue Pure 411, GermGuardian AC4825 and SilverOnyx as the testing samples to compare with the efficiency of this air purifier. Sadly, the PureZone Halo has the lowest efficiency, only 99.5% for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns. You can check the chart below to see the final result.
The Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo’s air filter cost is easily the most affordable, with a similar price tag to the PureZone‘s filter, at $19. This air filter must be replaced every 6 months or 4300 hours for optimal performance.

Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Room Coverage
As the most budget air purifier of Pure Enrichment, the PureZone Halo is definitely a compact air purifier for small room coverage. The room coverage of this air purifier is 100 square feet, which is similar to those in this price range, like GermGuardian AC4150 or Levoit LV-H126.
The ACH of PureZone Halo is 2X. This air purifier can clean your room every 30 minutes.
The CADR of PureZone Halo is only 40 cfm in general. With this CADR rating, you can only use the PureZone Halo for personal use.

Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Sound
Being the weakest air purifier for the area in the lineup of Pure Enrichment gains the PureZone Halo some great advantages, and the silent operation is clearly one of them.
In fact, this PureZone Halo only runs at 28 decibels on lowest speed, and you can’t hear anything from this silent operation. This noise level is even lower than the quiet operation of the previous models, and equal to the noise level of the whisper.
With 3 fan speeds, if you try the highest setting of this air purifier, you will experience a normal noise level of 54 decibels (db). It is quite high, but only like the noise level of common electric appliance at 100 feet. You will hear the sound, certainly, but you won’t be distracted much.

Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review how much energy this air purifier will consume.
The second advantage to have a much weaker fan power is the lower power consumption. This PureZone Halo only operates with 40 watts power rated power, which is lower than the average power consumption of 60 watts from its brothers.
If you run Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo 8 hours per day, you only need to pay $14 each year.

Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Additional Features
The Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo is the latest air purifier from this brand, but for unknown reason, the company removed the Smart Sensor from this device. It is reasonable, because there are no air purifiers in this price range can offer the air sensor, with only the exception of SilverOnyx 3-in-1 and AeraMax 100.
The PureZone Halo has an unique feature of this brand, the Night Light function. With two levels of brightness, this air purifier can make you sleep easier in soft glow mood light.
Finally, this air purifier offers an automatic timer, to help you shut off the device after 2, 4 , or 8 hours of continuous running. This PureZone Halo doesn’t have LED indicator for filter replacement, so you need to remember the date yourself.
Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo Customer Service
Though being a small air purifier company based in California, Pure Enrichment is still one of the best air purifier brands for their great and dedicated customer service. They truly care about improving the unique and high quality products, and they offer a Pure Power User program to allow you pick up and test their air purifiers 100% free. It is amazing, right?
However, this company only has one method of contact for you. You should contact them via email in their Contact page, and a member of their team will respond within two business days. If you have trouble and don’t satisfy with any air purifiers from this brand, you can easily require a refund within 60 days since the purchased day. You will get the money after up to 10 days, once your air purifier comes back to their warehouses.
Moreover, you don’t need to worry about the warranty. For any defective parts/products, your air purifier is backed up with a 5-year warranty of Pure Enrichment, and a replacement product will be sent out in a timely manner. This is one of the longest warranty duration for an air purifier brand, and that’s why people are in love with Pure Enrichment that much.
Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo succeeds in competing in the most budget air purifier market, and this air purifier is one of the rare True HEPA devices for the very low price. It doesn’t have air sensor, but not many air purifiers have this feature in this price range. There is no LED indicator for filter replacement, either, and you need to remind the date to replace the air filter yourself.
Despite the limit, this Pure Enrichment PureZone Halo is still one of the most gorgeous air purifiers, with sleek and comfortable size to use and manage on desk or tabletop. Its operation is quiet, and you won’t be disturbed with the soft glow Night Light function. Overall, this is definitely a good air purifier for bedroom.
