Aeris is just only a small air purifier company from Switzerland, where gives birth to Boneco and IQAir – the monuments of high-quality Swiss Made air purifiers in the world. And don’t take lightly on the micro brand, because the flagship Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro ranges from $999 to $1299 for one device, which makes it not the regular option. So to say, we need the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Review to check whether this air purifier deserves such high-range price.
Other Aeris’s Air Purifier Reviews:
Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Price
Aeris got a lot right with its lite version Aeris aair Lite, and while its successor shares very similar concept of air cleaning, a quick look at the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro’s spec sheet shows everything has been turbo-charged this time around.
In short, we will get an air purifier with such high fan power of any of Austin Air or AllerAir devices, smart features which can only be seen from the high-end Winix T1 or the flagships of Boneco and IQAir. However, the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro still has the most proper quiet operation to be used in bedrooms.
For all that strengths, we need to spend $999 for the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro. Question is, do you really want a beast like that in your daily indoor air cleaning? At least for us, after days of using it for testing, the answer is a resounding ‘yes’.
For the big competitors, you can look for the IQAir HealthPro Plus, IQAir GC MultiGas or Boneco H680 for the same performance. Only the Boneco H680 comes with an additional humidifier function, so it costs a bit more.

Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Design and Size
The Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro, unlike the lite version, is a real console air purifier. It is big, but in a very different way to other huge air purifiers like AllerAir AirMedic Pro 5 or Austin Air Bedroom Machine. In fact, it looks like a budget air purifier with the height of 23.6 inches and the width of 14.6 inches.
Starting with weight, the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro comes in at a hefty 33 lbs – compare that to the only 23-lb Boneco H680 or 35-lb IQAir HealthPro Plus. Maybe the definition of a high-range air purifier is the heavy weight, as there are many other air purifiers that are more difficult to lift.
Just like the smaller Aeris aair Lite, our today Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro comes with a variety of color options. I used the default White, or Stark White unit for this review, but you can select between the Graphite and Pink Tint options. Below is a deal to the Pink Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro for you to grab.
Aeris told that their design is awarded by the Red Dot and IF Design for the mainstream bottom-to-top air flow system concept. The polluted air will flow in through the 360° air intake at the bottom, get filtered by a big air filtration system, and release through the top air outlet.
On top, we will have an attractive display, together with the proprietary air sensor.

Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Filters
To decide the performance of one air purifier, normally we will check the quantity and quality of its air filters, including of the air filter types. The Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro, right at its name, has a typical 3-stage air cleaning system.
- Pre-filter – The Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro uses a F7 pre-filter, to pick up large pollutants like dust and pet dander.
- Activated Carbon filter – It has 1.8 lbs of zeolite carbon and activated alumina, to deliver basic adsorption for odors, cooking and pet smells.
- True HEPA filter – Aeris aair 3-in-1 traps any fine particles as small as 0.3 microns with the H13 HEPA filter, having high efficiency up to 99.97%.
Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro uses a simple, but powerful air filtration system with the core is a H13 Medical-grade True HEPA filter, which has 4 times more fiberglass (Aeris called it Swiss-diamond fiberglass). As a result, the filter can last up to 12 months without replacement.
To improve the air filtration system against specific needs, Aeris adds two different options. The first is the Medical Pro filter, with F9 pre-filter and high-quality True HEPA filter, to capture even ultra-fine particles as small as 0.1 microns. This air filter has the same performance rating as the HyperHEPA filter of IQAir.
The second one, for people who need better solution to remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from paints, aerosol, cleaning agents, smoke and formaldehyde. It will upgrade the granulated gas filter with 3.3 lbs of zeolite carbon, activated alumina and pleated gas filter.
To test this air purifier, I used the most difficult test in Breathe Quality, with a huge space of 400 square feet. I ran the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro in 1 hour, and let it perform against the competitors like Oransi EJ120, Medify MA-112 and Austin Air HealthMate Plus. Sadly, I didn’t have the IQAir GC MultiGas for the test, so I used the past result to give you better comparison. As you can see, Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro had an impressive efficiency of trapping 99.95% any pollutants down to 0.3 microns in size. Though the result isn’t the best, I bet that it is enough for an ultimate air purifier.
However, the filter replacement cost is also higher than the previous lite version, as it starts at $199. You must buy the genuine Aeris air filter, because their filter set is quite unique compared to the others.
There is one solution for the high price of Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro’s filter, if you follow our deal, you can get it for as low as $10/month. It is easy and simple to get the clean air for a small fee.

Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Room Coverage
This is the flagship of Aeris family, so the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro needs to cover a much larger space. It is recommended to use in extra-large rooms of 750 square feet.
The ACH of Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro is 4X. With this air changes per hour rating, this air purifier will clean your room every 15 minutes.
The CADR of Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro is 355 cfm in general. In fact, the fan power will be lower when using with the Medical Pro or Gas Pro air filters, but such fan power is still truly impressive.

Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Sound
The Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro uses the advanced fan from ebm-papst group, so it can deliver strong air flow while keeping the noise level as low as possible. Fact is, Swiss air purifiers tend to be quiet, and whisper quiet operation is one of many selling points of Aeris air purifiers.
That being said, Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro keeps the lowest noise level astonishingly at 35 decibels (db). That’s a lot quieter than the library’s environment, and you won’t notice any sound when it’s operating.
However, on highest speed, this air purifier has a noise level of 67 decibels. It is near the level of the noise on roads, so you should make sure to keep this air purifier on low whenever possible.

Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” because we need to run an air purifier for a constant long time, and power consumption is really a thing to consider.
Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro uses DC motor to operate, so it can keep the lowest power consumption to be only 30 watts, and the standby power to be less than 5 watts. However, the peak power consumption can reach 210 watts, which is near the energy consumption of Blueair Pro XL – one of the best air purifiers for fan power.
If you run the Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro for 8 hours per day, you will need to pay from $11 to $75, depending on the most-used mode.

Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Additional Features
Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro is a rare air purifier relying on the smart features to stay in high-range segment. The other air purifiers commonly found in this range have only focused on making deeper and bigger air filter, so it can last for years.
As the selling point of Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro, it can be connected with your smartphone via Wi-Fi connection. You will get notification for any changes in the indoor air quality of your home, as well as quick tips to improve.
The Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro has a Smart Mode, so it can learn your daily habits, and adjust the runtime and settings based on your history. Moreover, the app reports you any information of room’s air quality and temperature so you can track for long-term air improvements.
The Smart Sensor isn’t only for displaying indoor air quality index, it can enable the Auto Mode to adjust the fan automatically depending on the environment’s need. Yes, you can set it and forget it totally.
Just like the Aeris aair Lite, the flagship of Aeris has a Sleep Mode to turn the fan speed to the lowest, which is mostly suitable for bedtime. It also has a Child Lock setting, to prevent the settings from changing completely.
Finally, you have a LED indicator for filter replacement, so you don’t need to remember the date manually.
Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro Customer Service
Aeris is just a new air purifier company, and their website doesn’t provide much information about their customer service. If you have any question, please contact them via Contact Us page, or live chat with them.
You can get a full refund without any reason for the first 7 days from the purchase date, however you need to cover all the shipping cost. Or you can exchange the device within 30 days, if it’s defective due to manufacturing failure.
Aeris provides a simple 2-year warranty for their air purifiers, including of the main components such as the fan, the body and the Wi-Fi module. Remember that the warranty doesn’t cover malfunctions caused by misuse of the device by the users.
Aeris aair 3-in-1 Pro has everything for an ultimate air purifier, a flagship with even higher price than the top-tier units of big air purifier brands. But it could be the perfect strategy for a micro brand, because competing in low-range market can never be easy again.
What I like is perhaps its really innovative air filter, which is made to be exceptional in efficiency. All air filters are made in-house with Swiss-Made quality, and you really need such an ultra high-quality air filtration system to be worth the money.
However, this air purifier is a big boy, and you should expect it to be loud and energy consuming. These are just a few minor downsides for having a high-quality product, right?
