However, it was the story long time ago, and right now, can the Holmes HAP9726B-NU deal with many great and modern air purifiers?

This is also the most powerful True HEPA air purifier for just a small cost. The price of Holmes HAP9726B-NU is only $119 in the website of The Holmes Group, which is exactly $10 more than the old white version. We would like the new Holmes HAP8650B-NU to succeed, but our today Holmes HAP9726B-NU needs to work harder if it want to achieve such success.

To have an air purifier with such fan power of Holmes HAP9726B-NU in this price range, there is no chance for you to do such hard task. The VEVA 8000 Elite Pro and Honeywell 17000-S may pose some power, but they are a lot behind the actual wind technology of Holmes.

The Holmes HAP9726B-NU is intended to be a console low-range air purifier. It is a fairly small air purifier, with the dimensions of 17.3 (H) x 15.7 (W) x 8 (D) inches, which is even smaller than the old Holmes HAP726-NU. The weight of this device is also lighter with just 11 lbs. You can easily move it around your home.

The black color gives this air purifier a sense of premium, and I must tell you that it’s hard to acquire in such low-range segment. In addition, the small perforated holes for both air intake and air outlet help the build feel solid and tough, and should help the Holmes HAP9726B-NU match a lot of decor easily. Just like other console air purifiers of this brand, the Holmes HAP9726B-NU uses a bottom-to-top air flow concept system, and you will enjoy the fresh air from the top air outlet.

But in real comparison, the Holmes HAP9726B-NU is actually better than the previous model. In a room of 200 square feet, this air purifier has an efficiency of 99.6% to deal with any particles down to 0.3 microns.

Like I said earlier, the Holmes HAP9726B-NU uses the same air filter as the HAP726-NU. You should replace the air filter after 6 months of use, for optimal performance.

This air purifier is, of course, for a medium-sized room. The Holmes HAP9726B-NU’s room coverage is about 300 square feet.

Again, we don’t have any hope for the new Holmes air purifier to have silent operation. The Holmes HAP9726B-NU is another device with loud sound, and the noise level can reach 60 decibels (db) at the highest setting.

Some reviewers wrote that the air purifier is too noisy to sleep with it on. You should be careful if you run it on highest speed while sleeping.
