Though it is still a new kid on the block, we all are impressed by the new technology and innovation inside the Airdog air purifiers, especially the Airdog FitAir and Airdog X5. The Airdog FitAir is truly the worthy opponent of IQAir Atem, and with a much better price, it will seize the throne of best personal air purifier soon. Let’s find out in this Airdog FitAir Review.
Other Airdog’s Air Purifier Reviews:
1, Airdog X5 Review.
Airdog FitAir Price
The Airdog FitAir is currently the first entry to the low-range market of this company. For a starter, the most important mission is to collect customers’ feedback and decide the actual taste of the users. However, Airdog FitAir doesn’t follow the common pattern, and it jumps directly into making an unique style that no other air purifiers can do in this price range.
The under $100 reign is also the most popular start for a new air purifier brand, because it has a large base of curious customers who just want to try something new without paying a ton of money. Taking a good start, and the air purifier company will climb to the higher-range much easier.
So that’s how Airdog FitAir steps into the world of air purifiers, with a few tricks up its sleeve, the device of Silicon Valley Air Expert has a very comfortable price tag to accept. The price of this Airdog FitAir is only $99, and for a personal air purifier, it is 4 times cheaper than the famous IQAir Atem or Dyson Pure Cool Me. But is it enough for the new device to win in the arena of personal air purifiers?
Moreover, this air purifier targets at people who want to bind it into their arm, and walk outdoor with it. If you only look for an indoor air purifier, you should take a look at the Levoit LV-H132, Blue Pure 411 and PureZone Halo instead. They have better fan power and greater solution for odors and smoke adsorption, which is not the function of this today Airdog FitAir.

Airdog FitAir Design and Size
What do you demand from your personal air purifier? The first and foremost factor is its size, which must be compact enough to pick up. From the outside, the air purifier looks like a personal mini audio speaker, and the dimensions of this device is truly compact, with only 2.6 inches in height. You can easily grab this device in one hand, and with the weight of 0.5 lbs, it weighs nearly the same as many well-known smartphones at the moment.
This air purifier is designed for people who are likely to travel or exercise, so this company gives you an easy-to-use strap to help you attach the air purifier to your arm. As you can see, the air purifier can separate into two parts, then it can attach to the strap easily.
Both the air vents from this Airdog FitAir are the air intake grills. There is a vent next to the sliding switch to release the fresh air to you, where you can attach this device with the mask, and use it in a high polluted environment.
From the front of this air purifier, there is one simple button to turn this Airdog FitAir on, along with the LED notification for battery, with green indicates the full charge battery. Switch the air purifier to the back, and you will see a micro-USB charge. Remember that you can use this air purifier up to 6 hours for a full-charged battery, and even when it runs out of battery, you can still use it as normal.

Airdog FitAir Filters
For a personal air purifier, normally we don’t want to care much about the quantity of air filters. The Airdog FitAir is really simple, as it has only one HEPA filter.
- True HEPA filter – The H13-graded True HEPA air filter from this Airdog FitAir is the key to remove the pollen, odor, virus, smoke, and other harmful contaminants, with a high efficiency of 97.8%.
Just like the IQAir Atem, Airdog FitAir will come with only one air filter, and this is the True HEPA filter with the European standard of H13, meaning it can has efficiency of 99.97% for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns. The HEPA filter from Airdog FitAir, with a lot smaller size, can only deal with 97.8%. However, it is truly great for an air purifier that can be used outdoor like Airdog FitAir.
The Airdog FitAir doesn’t have Activated Carbon filter, and this is the big minus for an air purifier. It can filter out the smoke, but it can’t refresh the air out of odors and smells. To avoid the annoying smells, you can use the aromatherapy option with essential oils to use along this air purifier.
The HEPA filter of Airdog FitAir is going to cost you $29, but for a set of 5 air filters. You need to replace the air filter every 2-3 months, depending on the actual status of your outdoor environment.

Airdog FitAir Room Coverage
The Airdog FitAir is only for personal use, and you shouldn’t expect the large room coverage in this air purifier. It can clean a space of 25 square feet around you, and you should use it with the dust mask outdoor. Remember that the connector (or tube) must be bought separately.
The ACH of Airdog FitAir is 3X. This air purifier will clean your personal space at the rate of 3 times per hour.
The CADR of Airdog FitAir is only 5 cfm in general, which is 3 times weaker than the IQAir Atem. Of course, with a way cheaper price, the Airdog FitAir can’t match the power and performance of the Swiss air purifier. However, as you can connect the air purifier with mask, this Airdog FitAir can be very convenient to use in a lot more situations.

Airdog FitAir Sound
It is hard to notice any sound from a personal air purifier, especially for a device that mostly be used outdoor, it doesn’t even matter. With 3 fan speeds, the lowest noise level I can measure is only 20 decibels (db), such a noise level of the rustling leaves.
So to say, you can use the Airdog FitAir anywhere, be your bedroom or your office, without worrying the noise can interrupt you.

It is reasonable for an affordable price, and packs many high-end features that even the $200 air purifiers can’t have. Of course, the Airdog FitAir is only a personal air purifier, and any attempts to make it clean your large room will fail.
