Aprilaire 1910 Price

The Aprilaire 1910 works like a cabin air filter to filter out pollutants from your HVAC system. Well, all other whole-home air cleaners from Aprilaire do the same thing.

It looks similar to existing Aprilaire models, including the biggest Aprilaire 1510 and, so to speak, it gives a normal experience to install and uninstall the filter.

The Aprilaire 1910’s price is only $99, $10 cheaper than most common models of the 1000 series, like the Aprilaire 1210, Aprilaire 1310, and Aprilaire 1410. To get a totally different air cleaner like the Aprilaire 1610, you must top up at least $55.

The best alternative to the lineup of Aprilaire whole-home air cleaning systems is the Honeywell F100. However, the Honeywell F100 can be quickly upgraded to the Honeywell F300, while you need to buy the Aprilaire 5000 all by yourself.

Aprilaire 1910 Design and Size

Another Aprilaire whole-home air cleaner in the rectangular prism shape, measuring 25 x 6.75 x 22 inches in size.It is nearly the reverse version of the popular Aprilaire 1210.

The shape of the air filter is also reversed, as the Aprilaire 1910 uses a 25 x 20 air filter. Its positive static pressure is quite similar to that of the Model 1210, but it is a bit better in larger spaces.

The cabinet is made of corrosion-resistant heavy gauge galvanized steel, and together with the proprietary door design, it can easily deliver the MERV-rating performance.

Aprilaire 1910 weighs 18 lbs, making it one of the heaviest models of the 1000 series, only behind the Aprilaire 1610.

Aprilaire 1910 Filters

The Aprilaire 1910, just like any others in the Whole House Air Cleaner series of Aprilaire, will use only one air filter.

1. HEPA filter – Just like other HVAC systems’ filters, Aprilaire 1910 will use the MERV-11 air filter, which can remove 94% of pollen and mold, 72% of airborne bacteria and fungi, and 56% of all dust particles.

In real-world use, all pollen, dust, mold spores, and other airborne particles count as damaging things for your heating and cooling equipment. To maximize the life of the HVAC system, an air filter must be applied to trap those damaging particles.

The MERV-11 air filter is the most basic thing, as it can trap 37% of particles from 0.3 to 1 micron, 67% of particles from 1-3 microns, and 92% of particles up to 10 microns.

You can also upgrade to the MERV-13 (just like any air cleaner in this family) to enjoy better performance. The MERV-13 filter can trap 63% of particles from 0.3 to 1 micron, 88% of particles from 1–3 microns, and 93% of all particles up to 10 microns.

You need to change the air filter once per year, just like with other whole-home air cleaners. The 910 filter (MERV-11) costs you $67, which is a bit more than the previous models.

Aprilaire 1910 Room Coverage

All air purifiers under the 1000 series, including the Aprilaire 1910, are able to work with the whole-home HVAC system and can clean rooms up to 2000 square feet easily.

The Aprilaire 1910 is not a common air purifier with fan power, so we can’t measure its ACH and CADR rating.

Aprilaire 1910 Sound

Without fan power, Aprilaire 1910 won’t produce any noise. And actually, the Aprilaire 1910 will work in unison with your existing heating, ventilating, and cooling system (HVAC) to filter all contaminants in your air, so there is no way you can see it in your living areas.

So to say, this isn’t even a selling point of Aprilaire 1910, and you should bypass this section at all.

Aprilaire 1910 is discontinued at many well-known retailers for a good reason; its size is the least popular of all. I recommend you contact Aprilaire’s local professional dealer to check the size and install the right air cleaner for you.
