Airthereal ADH80 Design and Size

Whether you go for the cylindrical design aesthetic, or not, the Airthereal ADH80 looks like it is put together well enough to take the knocks. The 360° air intake design, the stylish top and white color inspire confidence. It is so good that Airthereal even applies this design for their flagship – the Airthereal AGH550.

The housing looks like a lot of air purifiers at the moment, thanks to the Levoit LV-H132. However, the most popular Levoit air purifier has been upgraded to a much more sleek appearance. Meanwhile, the Airthereal ADH80 is quite bigger with 11.7 inches in height and 7 inches for the width.

In all other respects, a 360° air intake can make full use of the fan power, as well as increase the efficiency. Airthereal ADH80 uses the same bottom-to-top air flow system concept, just like the Airthereal ADH50B.

To help you check the efficiency of Airthereal ADH80, I made a same test for this air purifier, in a room of 100 square feet and under 1 hour. I also chose the Levoit Vista 200 and GermGuardian AC4825 to help you see the difference between our today unit with the top-tiers in this price range. As you can see from the chart below, Airthereal ADH80 had an efficiency of 99.7% for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns.

As the Day Dawning air purifier of Airthereal, the Airthereal ADH80 uses the same 360° cylindrical air filter. It costs a bit higher than the filter of Airthereal ADH50B, with $19 for a set of filter replacement.

Airthereal ADH80 Room Coverage

The Airthereal ADH80 is still another portable air purifier from Airthereal family. It should be used only for rooms up to 160 square feet.

The ACH of Airthereal ADH80 is 2X. It will exchange the air in your room every 30 minutes.

The CADR of Airthereal ADH80 is 47 cfm in general. It has higher fan power than the Levoit LV-H132, but it is nowhere near the performance of Levoit Core 300.

However, thanks to the low fan power and active DC motor, the Airthereal ADH80 can keep the noise level to be as low as possible. Its lowest noise level is only 22 decibels (db), which is just like the sound of rustling leaves. Normally, you won’t notice any sound from Airthereal ADH80 on lowest speed.

On highest speed, Airthereal ADH80 only reaches 42 decibels – the noise level of library mode. So to say, you can run the device 24/7 on highest speed, and you still can enjoy the best silent operation as ever.
