1. Pre-filter – The fine preliminary filter can remove any large objects with size bigger than 100 microns, like pet, lint and fur.

I also have copies of Mooka EPI810 and Jinpus, which are also from Chinese manufacturers, to make a full comparison with this KOIOS EPI810. The result, our today unit is the weakest of all three air purifiers, as it had the efficiency of only 88% for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns.

KOIOS is an air purifier brand certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to meet the ozone emission safety of below 0.05 parts per million (ppm). There aren’t many certified Chinese air purifiers to be shipped to California, so you shouldn’t worry about this product.
