Aprilaire 1310 Price

Aprilaire 1310 is the second model in the 1000 whole-home air purifier series, right after the Aprilaire 1210. Until now, the 1000 series has stacked seven different models to work for a variety of HVAC system sizes.

We often mistake the size of the Aprilaire 1310 with the model 1210, as both dimensions are nearly the same. To know which one you should have, please find a professional contact at Aprilaire to guide and install the air cleaner for you.

Out of the box, Aprilaire 1310 costs you $109, exactly the same as the prior 1210 and the following Aprilaire 1410. It is $10 higher than the Aprilaire 1910, though it seems smaller.

Aprilaire 1310 competes with the Honeywell F100, another long-standing air purifier brand. The next-generation Honeywell F200, with a drop in price, is also a great alternative for our current unit.

The Aprilaire 1310 isn’t so much different from the Aprilaire 1210, and in fact, it uses a 20 x 20 air filter, compared with a 20 x 25 filter on the Model 1210. For the dimensions, the Aprilaire 1310 is only 20.4 inches in height and 22 inches in depth (the depth is similar to the original 1110 model).

It is also shorter than the Aprilaire 1910, while costs $10 higher than the latter product. With only 15 lbs, the Aprilaire 1310 is the lightest in the entire 1000 series.

Aprilaire 1310, just like the rest of the family, uses heavy-gauge galvanized steel to resist corrosion. Together with the proprietary door design, it can deliver the MERV performance as rated. Changing the air filter is simple; just remove the inlet opening first and put the filter out.

Aprilaire 1310 Filters

The Apriliare 1310, just like any others in Whole House Air Cleaner series of Aprilaire will use only one air filter.

1. HEPA filter – Just like other HVAC systems’ filters, Aprilaire 1310 will use the MERV-11 air filter, which can remove 94% of pollen and mold, 72% of airborne bacteria and fungi, and 56% of all dust particles.

To maximize the life of your heating and cooling equipment, the Aprilaire 1310 will prevent dust buildup by trapping any allergens inside the MERV-11 filter.

Using an air filter of nearly the same size, the Aprilaire 1310 has more positive static pressure on airflow, resulting in higher actual airflow. The difference is small at 200–600 cfm but changes drastically at stronger airflow, at a maximum of 1200 cfm.

You need to replace the air filter annually for optimal performance due to its high airflow volume into the air cleaner. The 310 air filter costs $52, and I recommend you get the 313 air filter for only $59 for a MERV-13 rating.

Aprilaire 1310 can’t upgrade to have a MERV-16 air filter like Aprilaire 1210 or Aprilaire 1410. If you have serious allergies, you should consider using other air purifiers.

Aprilaire 1310 Room Coverage

All air purifiers under the 1000 series, including the Aprilaire 1310, are able to work with the whole-home HVAC system and can clean rooms up to 2000 square feet easily.

The Aprilaire 1310 is not a common air purifier with fan power, so we can’t measure its ACH and CADR rating.

Aprilaire 1310 Sound

Without fan power, Aprilaire 1310 won’t produce any noise. And actually, the Aprilaire 1210 will work in unison with your existing heating, ventilating, and cooling system (HVAC) to filter all contaminants in your air, so it’s far away from your living areas.

So to say, this isn’t even a selling point of Aprilaire 1310, and you should bypass this section at all.

Aprilaire 1310 Power Consumption

One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifiers must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criterion to review to determine if this air purifier is good or not.

However, the Aprilaire 1310 is just a housing for one air filter. It doesn’t need electricity, and you don’t need to check its power consumption.

In the case of the Aprilaire 9550 series, the limited warranty is only effective for 1 year, and you don’t have the Clean Coil Guarantee.

Just another version of Aprilaire 1210 with a smaller size. In any case, you should speak with a professional Aprilaire dealer to determine which one is best for your HVAC system.
