Looking to get your hands on the large room air purifier experience without breaking the bank? The Mooka Allo is making its debut in the U.S this year with an ultra-low price, to the point it can be easier to get one than the Levoit Core 300 – one of our best air purifiers. In this Mooka Allo Review, let’s drill into the specs to see whether it is good to get one or not.
In Breathe Quality, we have reviewed all air purifiers under these sections. Also, we guarantee that:

- We do not (and never) exaggerate one product just to let you click the links and buy that product blindly.
Sections
- Low price for decent performance
- Better fan power
- Very quiet operation
- Sleek design
- A bit lower performance than top-tier ones
Mooka has finally released the ultimate air purifier with different design concept from the KOIOS, which is also an air purifier brand with Shenzhen origin. The Mooka Allo is a CARB-certified air purifier, just like the popular Mooka EPI810, making it a potential device to compete with the top-tier sub-$100 champions. Alright, it’s time for the Mooka Allo Review.
Other Mooka’s Air Purifier Reviews:
Mooka Allo Price
In the world of an increasing number of Chinese air purifiers, it’s really difficult for us – the users to check and use a proper one. However, there are only a small portion of them to have certification of the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which is the strictest test applied for safe and effective air purifiers.
The Mooka Allo is one of the minority to get that certification, just like the Mooka EPI810, KOIOS EPI810 and Partu lineup. However, with a higher price tag, we should expect from this sleek air purifier a little bit more.
The official price tag of this Mooka Allo is $99, but you can get an ultra-low price with our deal below. With a decent specs and good additional features, $79 for such air purifier would be okay.
Yeah, at the time of writing, the best air purifiers you can get for such price point are the Levoit Core 300, Airthereal ADH80 and AeraMax 100. However, it’s rare to see these air purifiers drop to as low as $79.
Mooka True HEPA air purifier for home up to 323 ft², 360° deep purification, ozone free air cleaner for allergies, pets, smokers, mold, odor eliminators for bedroom, large room, filter reminder & Timer.
The latest version of Mooka compact air purifier, with CARB certification for being 100% ozone-free.

Mooka Allo Design and Size
The Mooka Allo once again takes the compact size, but this time we can’t see any KOIOS design in the latest Mooka air purifier. Actually, you can expect an air purifier that is distinct from any other popular devices in the market, thanks to the smart design concept.
Likewise, Mooka stays to the budget segment and releases another portable air purifier with just only 16 inches in height, and 7.7 inches for the width. It has a cylindrical body, and feels like a premium device with plain white color option.
You will be pleased to own the Mooka Allo because it is also a stylish air purifier. Running the normal bottom-to-top air flow system concept, the air purifier has a 360° air intake at the bottom, and an unique top air outlet that tends to direct the air flow toward the user. It would be perfect if the Mooka Allo is a bit shorter, but then you need to sacrifice the performance. Well, guess we can’t have everything.
On top of this Mooka Allo, we have a neat control panel in the black crescent right below the air grill.

This is another air purifier to be used for bedroom, with the weight of only 5 lbs. If you want to get a bigger device, you should aim for the flagship Mooka GL-FS32.

Mooka Allo Filters
Mooka tends to make the same air cleaning system for all of their portable devices, just only with different size and shape. The Mooka Allo runs a simple yet effective 3-stage air filtration system as below.
- Pre-filter – A fine preliminary filter that captures any large particles such as hair, fur and lint. This filter is the first protection to prolong the life of the all-in-one air filter.
- True HEPA filter – Eliminates 99.97% of any particles as small as 0.3 microns, like pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust or dust mites, which covers most of PM2.5 and PM10.
- Activated Carbon filter – Neutralizes various household odors caused by cooking smells, smoking and pet odors.
Mooka Allo doesn’t use any ionizer or UV-C light filter, so it is strictly certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to meet the safety of ozone emission. It is quite similar to the popular Mooka EPI810‘s air filter, but it is bigger.
I have made a complete test for many air purifiers from Chinese manufacturer in the same 150 square feet, to give you a clear comparison. The Mooka Allo is running against the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2S, KOIOS EPI209 and Hathaspace Smart True HEPA Air Purifier. As you can see, the Mooka Allo had a bit lower efficiency for trapping just 99.5% any particles down to 0.3 microns. It is good that we have this air purifier with a much discounted price, because it is nowhere near the performance of the top-tier products like Winix 5300-2 or Airthereal APH260.
Just like any air purifier in Mooka family, the Mooka Allo requires you to replace the air filter after 6 months of use. The air filter is only $19, so it isn’t a big deal to replace it twice a year.

Mooka Allo Room Coverage
Mooka Allo is advertised to be the True HEPA air purifier for large rooms, up to 320 square feet. It is a lot of fan power for a device under $100.
The ACH of Mooka Allo is 5X. With such high air changes per hour rating, the Mooka Allo can clean your room every 12 minutes.
The CADR of Mooka Allo is 130 cfm in general. It is near the fan power of even the top-tier devices like Levoit Core 300 or VEVA 8000 Elite Pro.

Mooka Allo Sound
On board, the Mooka Allo is an air purifier to deliver a peaceful night for the users. If you want to know the noise level of this air purifier on lowest speed, it is just only 20 decibels (db), which is as low as the rustling leaves out of nature.

Though the fan power is at least triple from the previous Mooka EPI810 or Mooka PM1220, its highest noise level is just only 50 decibels. It is still the same as the noise from your air conditioner at 100 feet, and I bet that you don’t usually notice that.
For those looking to use the air purifier to improve the sleep, you should take the Mooka Allo right now.

Mooka Allo Power Consumption
One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review if this air purifier is good or not.
Another upgrade for the Mooka Allo is the solid motor construction, which is the selling point for only latest Chinese products, like Partu BS-08. This new motor offers a much more stable performance, and reduces the power consumption to only 35 watts. It is truly impressive for an air purifier with such fan power.
For anyone who will use the Mooka Allo 8 hours per day, you only need to spend just $12.5 each year.

Mooka Allo Additional Features
With the increasing in its price, the Mooka Allo can’t just only give the fan speed settings like the predecessor. It needs more functions to explore, and yes, you will have one additional button to set the timer on or off. The Timer is available for 2, 4 or 8 hours, to schedule the time off for the device.
Finally, we have a LED indicator for filter replacement, which is really nice to have.

Mooka Allo Customer Service
The website of Mooka is truly identical to KOIOS, and looking at the appearances of their air purifiers and other products, we can easily conclude these two brands as one. The truth, however, remains unknown to tell.
As if you want to contact Mooka, you need to select the different line from KOIOS. For any trouble you have with their products, you can choose either email at support@mooka.co or phone call at 855-558-8999. You can also follow their facebook page for more information.
Mooka also requires you to activate your product warranty online, so your air purifiers will be covered by an 1-year warranty and 90-day refund. The 1-year technical support for free is also applied for anyone who has registered.

Our verdict
Mooka Allo can’t compete with things like Levoit Core 300 or VEVA 8000 Elite Pro in terms of performance, but thanks to the convenient drop in the price, it may attract many users for its strict certification from CARB, decent power in air purification and some convenient additional features.
