Enviroklenz is the registered air purifier brand of the Timilon Technology Acquisitions LLC, starting at 2016. Although the company is very young compared to other big American air purifier brands, they only compete in the high-range market. Enviroklenz Mobile UV Price

The Enviroklenz Mobile UV is a flagship UV air purifier with an incredible high-quality air filtration system, but its other perks don’t quite push it beyond the competition. Frankly, the air purifier has similar performance to the previous Enviroklenz Mobile Air System.

And that’s the problem, because the Enviroklenz Mobile UV costs $799, meaning it is $100 higher than its brother. $100 for adding a $39 UV bulb, so do you really need the addition?

Well, this air purifier is actually the most refined flagship we’ve seen from Enviroklenz, which I will cover in the Design section. However, the air purifier is really clunky like all industrial air purifiers for home use. Still, as one of the more affordable Airpura UV600 out there, the Enviroklenz Mobile UV has appeal for the average consumer, even if it doesn’t outperform other flagships.

So, I guess you should take a look at the great alternatives out there, most notable LG PuriCare AS560DWR0, Alen BreatheSmart 75i, Molekule Air, IQAir HealthPro Plus and Airdoctor UlrtaHEPA.

Enviroklenz Mobile UV Design and Size

Enviroklenz Mobile UV, at first impression, is expected to be the mimic version of the previous Enviroklenz Mobile Air System, but well we can easily tell them apart from the subtle control panel. The flagship doesn’t mention Timilon on board, and it has a LED indicator for HEPA filter replacement.

Other than that, it is simple just like the basic model of Enviroklenz. However, design isn’t the must-have way to surpass other top-tier air purifiers, because most high-end devices remain simple in looks. The Enviroklenz Mobile UV is humble at 22 inches in height. Also, it is quite similar in weight with the basic model, at 38 lbs.

The air purifier uses the reverse top-to-bottom air flow system concept, which is quite strange and it’s really hard to deliver the path of air flow to users.

Enviroklenz Mobile UV Filters

It is easy to guess the Enviroklenz Mobile UV will have UV-C light bulb, and that’s it, the air purifier will have one additional stage for the air filtration system.

1. Air Cartridge Filter – This air filter can neutralize odors, chemicals, and VOCs from the air. Lasts for 2-3 months.
2. True HEPA filter – The main HEPA filter that captures 99.99% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns like virus particles, pollen, mold and fungi particles.
3. UV-C light filter – The light will shine on the HEPA filter to kill organisms such as bacteria, mold, and viruses.

Enviroklenz Mobile Air System features a very powerful set of air filters, starting with the Enviroklenz 14×14 Replacement Cartridge. Using patented earth mineral technology (including of Magnesium Oxide, Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide), the filter can work through a process of destructive adsorption of the chemical odors, VOCs, and pathogens. Such filter is exclusive of only Enviroklenz, as the company doesn’t use common Activated Carbon filter.

About the True HEPA filter of Enviroklenz Mobile UV, you will still have an ultra-fine, fiber medium that captures microscopic particles to remove at least 99.97% of particles 0.3-microns in diameter from the air passing through the filter. The filter is durable, too, and it can last for 2 years.

The UV-C light filter is located above the collection side of the HEPA filter. Unlike normal systems that depend on killing the organisms as they pass through the UV-C light in a very short period of time, this UV-C light can kill with a very high efficiency.

Such performance of the Enviroklenz Mobile UV is tested by leading laboratories around the world, for example Battelle Memorial Institute, Coal Mines Technical Services, Nelson Laboratories and U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine…

In our test, the Enviroklenz Mobile UV is actually more powerful than the original Enviroklenz Mobile Air System, despite of its similar fan power. Such performance is better (but of course) than the cheaper flagships of other brands: AIRMEGA 400, Dyson TP04 or Medify MA-112.

The HEPA filter can be used for 2 years, and the annual filter cost of this Enviroklenz Mobile UV is very reasonable.

Enviroklenz Mobile UV Room Coverage

Enviroklenz Mobile UV doesn’t excel the original Enviroklenz Mobile Air System in terms of fan power. It is recommended for room size over 1000 square feet, with around 2 air changes per hour.

The ACH of Enviroklenz Mobile UV is 2X to 4X in a room of 300 square feet.

The CADR of Enviroklenz Mobile UV is only 250 cfm in general.

Enviroklenz Mobile UV Sound

Enviroklenz Mobile UV doesn’t have a strong blower as its competitors, but in general, an air purifier with four-speed blower will generate loud noise on highest speed, and vice versa. The Whisp-air speed keeps the noise level as low as 54 decibels (db), and it is recommended for situations that require minimal noise such as sleeping and watching TV.

On highest speed, the noise level is at 62 decibels, which is only for the most critical environments that need immediate and effective removal of VOCs and/or chemicals.

Enviroklenz Mobile UV Power Consumption

One of our most FAQs is “Do air purifiers use a lot of energy?” In fact, air purifier must be used for a long time to be efficient. And power consumption is one important criteria to review how much energy this air purifier will consume.

The Enviroklenz Mobile UV has a power consumption of 135 watts, which is quite high for an air purifier with such low fan power.

If you use the Enviroklenz Mobile UV for at least 8 hours each day, it would cost you $48 per year.

Enviroklenz Mobile UV Additional Features

Like all normal, traditional high-range air purifiers, the Enviroklenz Mobile UV doesn’t include any high-end additional features like Smart Sensor or smart controlling. It has (actually) LED indicators for filter replacement, which you can’t find in the basic Enviroklenz Mobile Air System. However, that’s all.

Sadly, today we love to have the Smart Sensor and some even consider this feature as necessary. The Smart Sensor will be the perfect way to ease our lives, as we only need to turn on the air purifier, and let it do the task entirely. Let’s take a look for the LG PuriCare AS560DWR0 or Molekule Air.

Our verdict

The Enviroklenz Mobile UV is one of a few high-end options for air purifying system you can get for your home. However, with less performance than most cheaper devices from Austin Air, AllerAir or Airpura, the Enviroklenz Mobile UV is hard to recommend, even when its quality is superb.
