The felt gaskets will seal the filter chamber to maximize the air filtration performance. This is a must-have feature on any portable air purifiers, and out of all devices I’ve reviewed, the Austin Air family is undeniable the best.

The Austin Air Pet Machine is 23 inches in height, and 15 inches in width. In a portable air purifier like this Austin Air Pet Machine, we have a signature 360° air intake system. Every minute, the system pulls in room air from all sides of the air purifier, and pulls out from the top air outlet.

My favorite part of the review is the performance test of one air purifier. This time, I selected the AIRMEGA 300S and Alen BreatheSmart as the samples to test the performance of this Austin Air Pet Machine. The result, it was not a surprise as the Austin Air Pet Machine was the winner, as you can see from the chart below.

My testing conditions: Running all air purifiers in the room of 400 square feet, in 1 hour.

For the filter replacement, you need to pay $295. But keep it in mind that the air filter of Austin Air Pet Machine can last for 5 years, meaning you only need to pay $59 for the annual filter replacement cost. This is only a small amount of money you need to pay for the clean air.
