Partu BS-10 Price

Simply, Partu BS-10 has the biggest numeral in its name, so it could be the flagship of the company. Just like the Partu BS-07, this device is a console air purifier forming in a compact design.

Derivative looks do no favors, but there’s a lot to love on the inside. The Partu BS-10 is the only air purifier in this company to have a Smart Sensor. And while having such high-end feature, the Partu BS-10 costs you only $89. It is really good value for those who can look beyond its cheap external flaws.

There aren’t many air purifiers with CARB certification for ozone emission safety like the Partu BS-10 for under $100, as you can only look for the big brands like Airthereal ADH80, Levoit Core 300 or Honeywell HPA060. If you can raise the budget a little bit, you can have a much more powerful device like Airthereal APH260, Medify MA-14 or Hathaspace Smart True HEPA Air Purifier.

Partu BS-10 Design and Size

The low-range segment is a varied and wonderful place to be shopping at the moment. At one end, air purifiers in this range mainly settle down to be similar with the well-known Levoit LV-H132.

Partu doesn’t go in such common way for design, and that’s what I really praise for. Yes, the Partu BS-10 might looks as a cheap console air purifier, but it is still unique to not be mistaken from any others.

At close look, we have the biggest air purifier in the Partu family, with the height of 14.6 inches and the width of 12 inches. But hey, it is still compact enough to be put in your side table, just like what you will do with the Pure Enrichment PureZone or Levoit Vital 100.

Unfortunately, the black color finish is quite cheap, with rounded corners and perforated holes on the front plate cover. The inevitable unflattering comparison can only lead to disappointment and a far more critical appraisal than a more modest or generic design might elicit.

Partu BS-10 uses a straightforward bottom-to-top air flow system concept, and this company makes a very stylish top air outlet. There is a small sensor beneath the top air outlet, to monitor the air quality. It is a bit too far from the air intake, and too close to the air outlet, leading to possible false results.

Simple top control panel is updated from the old Partu BS-07. There is an air quality monitor right on front, so you can keep checking the indoor air quality.

Partu BS-10 weighs only 7.5 lbs, so you can move it easily to anywhere you want, especially thanks to the convenient handles from both sides.

Partu BS-10 Filters

For a flagship air purifier, the Partu BS-10 just only use the simple 3-stage air filtration system. If you want more complication in the system, you should look for the Partu BS-08.

1. Pre-filter – The fine preliminary filter can remove any large objects with size bigger than 100 microns, like pet, lint and fur.
2. True HEPA filter – Traps 99.97% of any particles as small as 0.3 microns, like pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust or dust mites.
3. Activated Carbon filter – Removes cigarette smoke, odors and cooking smells.

Partu BS-10 remains the most simple yet effective air cleaning system in the world, with a preliminary filter, a True HEPA filter that captures any particles down to 0.3 microns and a carbon filter for odor removal. Being completely 100% ozone-free, the Partu BS-10 is certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to meet the safety of ozone emission. You can use this air purifier with ease of mind.

For the same test as other air purifiers in Partu family, within a room of 100 square feet, the Partu BS-10 deserved to be the flagship of the company. It got the highest score with efficiency of 99.9% for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns. This result is as good as some popular air purifiers like GermGuardian AC4825 or GermGuardian AC5000.

Partu BS-10 Room Coverage

Partu BS-10 is suggested to use in room of 215 square feet by the manufacturer. Its fan power is a bit weaker than other competitors in the same price range, but it is still enough to cover such recommended space.

The ACH of Partu BS-10 is 4X. It means the air purifier will exchange the air in your room every 15 minutes.

The CADR of Partu BS-10 is 100 cfm in general. If you want an air purifier with higher fan power, you should aim for Levoit Core 300 or VEVA 8000 Elite Pro.

Partu BS-10 Sound

If I was to pick an advantage for having low fan power, this must be the low noise level. Partu BS-10, with such low fan power, can reduce the noise level to nearly silent.

Running the device on lowest speed, you will enjoy an environment with noise level of only 28 decibels (db), which is even lower than the whisper.

Even on the highest speed, the noise level only reaches 50 decibels. It won’t wake you up at night if you put it from a proper distance.

Partu BS-10 utilizes a solid motor construction, so it can achieve good performance without costing too much energy. The power consumption of this air purifier is just 50 watts, similar to the Partu BS-07.

Partu BS-10 Additional Features

Additional features are always the main sector that flagships try to stand out. The Partu BS-10 has one great selling point, thanks to its Smart Sensor for a device under $100. There aren’t many alternatives you can find with such high-end feature. The Smart Sensor can help track the current indoor air quality, then it activates the Auto Mode to automatically adjust the fan speed which is the most suitable.

If you want your room to be completely dark, you can easily turn off all the indicator’s lights. And just like other devices in Partu family, we will have Child lock function, to prevent any accidentally changes of settings.

Finally, we still have one LED indicator for filter replacement. This is a nice-to-have feature, as we don’t need to remember the date manually.

Partu BS-10 Customer Service

Partu doesn’t have a website for their products, so it is quite difficult to learn about their customer service. We don’t know where to contact this manufacturer for support, either via phone or email.

It seems Partu will provide a 2-year warranty for all their products, but if you need full refund, you must refer to return policy of the retailer that you’ve purchased from.

Our verdict

Partu BS-10 is a capable air purifier with modern Smart Sensor, something that is rare for under $100. It is also good with the quiet operation, and packing many additional features on a budget product. But I don’t like it cheap design, and I feel the air purifier can break anytime soon. It is discontinued.
