Partu BS-03 Price

Naming products may not be the strength of this air purifier brand. The Partu BS-03 and Partu BS-08 are the most affordable air purifiers from this company, while the Partu BS-07 is a bit more expensive.

The entry into the Partu budget series begins with the Partu BS-03, which currently can be found from only $49 in the most well-known retailers. The Partu BS-03 has a surprisingly current design for a budget air purifier, which is quite unique for the company.

Partu BS-03 Design and Size

The Partu BS-03 looks chic and robust for its price, at least initially. Partu has opted for a plastic case that comes in black color. It appears to use a cylindrical design, with the top air outlet leaning on front for more direct air flow to users.

This air purifier is compact with the height of only 11.4 inches, and the width of 6.3 inches, which is a bit smaller than the Partu BS-08. At just 3.4 lbs, this is one of the lightest air purifier you can get for your bedroom. If you prefer a more solid option, you should look for the Partu BS-07 or Partu BS-10.

Partu BS-03 sports a simple bottom-to-top air flow system concept, and underneath the top air outlet is a space for adding essential oils. As a result, the device can both purify the air and release fragrance to create wellness.

Partu BS-03 Filters

Partu BS-03 uses a simple-yet-reliable 3-stage air cleaning system, which is a plus for an air purifier that is under $50.

1. Pre-filter – The fine preliminary filter can remove any large objects with size bigger than 100 microns, like pet, lint and fur.
2. True HEPA filter – Traps 99.9% of any particles as small as 0.3 microns, like pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust or dust mites.
3. Activated Carbon filter – Removes cigarette smoke, odors and cooking smells.

Partu BS-03 is certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to meet the safety of ozone emission, as the ozone emission concentration limit is only 0.05 parts per million (ppm). It is reasonable as the air purifier only uses mechanical filters, so it could be completely 100% ozone-free.

I used the same test for all Partu devices, in a room of 100 square feet and the duration of 1 hour. The Partu BS-03, with the smallest size, had the lowest score of only 99.9% efficiency for trapping any particles down to 0.3 microns.

Partu BS-03 Room Coverage

The Partu BS-03 is just a portable air purifier, so it can only cover a room of 110 square feet. It should only be for personal use.

The ACH of Partu BS-03 is 2X. The air purifier can exchange the air in your room every 30 minutes.

The CADR of Partu BS-03 is 37 cfm in general. It is enough for this air purifier to clean any spaces up to 100 square feet.

Partu BS-03 Sound

Partu BS-03 is mainly an air purifier for bedroom, so it needs to be very quiet when operating. On lowest speed, the noise level is measured to be only 38 decibels (db), which is even quieter than the library.

But when you run this portable air purifier on highest speed, the noise level can reach 59 decibels, which is pretty noisy for such a small device. If you want to use this air purifier while sleeping or working, make sure to keep it at the appropriate distance.

Partu BS-03 Power Consumption

Partu BS-03 Additional Features

Air purifiers under $50 basically doesn’t have any additional features, so it can cut cost efficiently. The Partu BS-03 follows this rule strictly, but the Chinese air purifier brand manages to add a few basic features for this air purifier. For example, you will have a Child lock to prevent any accidental changes of settings.

Partu BS-03 is also the only unit in the family to have a fragrance sponge, so you can easily add a few drops of essential oils for aromatherapy. You can choose between citrus, honeydew melon, musk, vanilla, orris and vetiver for difference fragrance.

Partu BS-03 Customer Service

Partu doesn’t have a website for their products, so it is quite difficult to learn about their customer service. We don’t know where to contact this manufacturer for support, either via phone or email.

It seems Partu will provide a 2-year warranty for all their products, but if you need full refund, you must refer to return policy of the retailer that you’ve purchased from.

The Partu BS-03 is a good-to-go low-range air purifier, as you can get it for under $50. It is portable to be installed anywhere, and it doesn’t produce ozone.
