With the release of the Bissell air220 and Bissell air320, we’re looking for an upcoming Bissell air420 to completely replace the old Bissell air400. Instead, we have this Bissell Myair Hub – a personal small-room air purifier that’s designed to replace the old Bissell MyAir.
However, it isn’t so appealing to get a new air purifier with this classic, vintage design at the same price as the old Myair. The Bissell Myair Hub is more expensive at $149, meaning you’re paying triple the price of the previous Myair. It would certainly be acceptable if we got more features, but sadly, that’s not the case.
At this price point, the Bissell Myair Hub has many better alternatives. You can choose the Blue Pure 511i Max or Levoit Core 300S for a smarter yet compact device. Alternatively, you can choose the bulky console-style Levoit Vital 200S or Winix 5520 for far superior performance in rooms of up to a large size.
So, is there any reason to buy the Bissell Myair Hub in 2026? Perhaps if you’re a long-time Bissell fan, you might want to give this personal air purifier a try.

Bissell Myair Hub 2905A Design and Size
The Bissell Myair Hub is learnt more from the Bissell air220 and Bissell air320 than the air purifier with the same name – Bissell MyAir. It is a cylindrical air purifier with a supported base, so it’s a bit taller at 16 inches.
One thing you can appreciate is the exterior design of the Bissell Myair Hub, which resembles the air320 and has a vintage feel thanks to its denim-like finish. Its bottom-to-top airflow system concept also means less dust accumulates on the air inlet, which is something many people dislike about air purifiers.
The Bissell Myair Hub also works on an USB port and it is a night light. So it is advised to put in on your nightstand, so you can enjoy bedroom air purification easily. The top control panel is simple, which is similar to the original Myair.
Overall, it’s a small unit at 7.6 lbs. You can move it around your home, to purify where it is needed the most.

All air purifiers in Bissell family, including of the today Bissell air320, complies with the standards set forth by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), to meet an ozone emission concentration limit less than 0.05 parts per million (ppm). The Bissell Myair Hub will use the same 3-stage air cleaning system as its siblings.
- Pre-filter – A fabric pre-filter is used to capture the large objects of pollutants, like pet hair, fur and large dust. It is washable and permanent to use.
- True HEPA filter – With the pleated High Efficiency filter, the Bissell air320 can trap 99.97% of 0.3 microns particles or larger.
- Activated Carbon filter – Engineered with actual pieces of carbon, the honeycombed Activated Carbon filter can capture odor causing gases and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
We tested the Bissell Myair Hub using a test designed specifically for air purifiers in the $150 price range. Its performance was average, capturing 96.31% of particles down to 0.3 microns after one hour. It falls far behind the standard set by air purifiers currently available at this price point, such as the Frigidaire PureA300, Bionaire BAP0041UV, and Bionaire BAP360XL.

Sadly, we can’t find an official Bissell air filter replacement at the moment, because it seems the company is clearing the air purifiers out of stock. You can try the alternative filter from third-party sellers, but it lasts far less.

As a bedroom air purifier, the Bissell Myair Hub is quiet. Its lowest speed produces only 27 decibels (dB), which is below what we’d consider “whisper-quiet.” You can easily sleep with it turned on.
On its highest speed, the noise level is audible, but only at 47 decibels. So the Bissell Myair Hub is not only suitable for bedroom, it is perfect for nursery or child’s room.
