Okaysou AirMic4S, as the name suggests, is a compact air purifier for small rooms. Okaysou was one of a few Chinese companies to name their product properly, instead of giving random number for the products (like Elechomes, Inofia or Partu).

It’s an air purifier to compete directly against the phenomenal success of Levoit LV-H132 and its successor – the Levoit Vista 200. The Okaysou AirMic4S boasts about its H13 True HEPA filter, which can even be customized like the more expensive Levoit Core 300.

This isn’t a surprising move, as Okaysou did exactly the same thing when they introduced the Okaysou AirMax8L, to borrow high-end specs for a really cheap device.

So what do you get with the second generation of Okaysou air purifiers. The Okaysou AirMic4S costs officially $89, and you should check our deal for the lowest price. In short, it is equivalent with the price changes from Levoit.

At that price, the Okaysou AirMic4S is competing against Airthereal ADH80 and many Chinese air purifiers like Elechomes EPI236 and Mooka Allo. You should read the reviews carefully before pulling the trigger.

Okaysou AirMic4S Design and Size

Okaysou AirMic4S follows the design language of this company, though for more compact air purifier, it isn’t identical to its big brother. In my opinion, it is the best-looking device the company has made to date. It is the cubic design, but it has a more rounded design than any cubic air purifiers you’ve seen in the market.

For the dimension, Okaysou AirMic4S is just 12 inches in height and 8.7 inches in width. It is so compact that you can put it tabletop easily, and thanks to the Nightlight function, it could be perfect on a nightstand.

In fact, the design of Okaysou AirMic4S isn’t distinctive, but it has a premium-looking and feeling with main white tone color on plastic body. It doesn’t look out of place alongside other air purifiers which cost more. Considering the comfortably cheaper price, it’s rather impressive.

Okaysou AirMic4S runs a bottom-to-top air flow system concept, but it doesn’t have 360° air intake, but only two air grills from both sides. That’s quite a disappointment for an air purifier with cylindrical air filter, but perhaps Okaysou didn’t want to change their common design language.

The top control panel is placed at the center of the top air outlet, which is really like the higher-range Levoit LV-H133. The touch control is simple to read and use.

Okaysou AirMic4S Filters

Okaysou once again stay firm with making only air purifiers using mechanical filters. The Okaysou AirMic4S uses a simple 3-stage air cleaning system.

1. Pre-filter – The washable pre-filter can capture large particles such as dust, pet hair and fur, to protect and extend the main filter’s life.
2. True HEPA filter – Traps 99.97% of any particles as small as 0.3 microns, like pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust or dust mites. It is a H13 True HEPA filter, so it can even capture the particles as small as 0.1 microns.
3. Activated Carbon filter – Adsorbs cooking smell, pet odors, ammonia, benzene and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

Although Okaysou AirMic4S uses an all-in-one air filter, the pre-filter can be detached and washable, therefore extend the main HEPA filter’s life much better.

Obviously, as a more budget device, the Okaysou AirMic4S only uses carbon cotton filter, instead of honeycombed carbon filter like the flagship Okaysou AirMax8L. However, the big headline power is the H13 True HEPA filter, which can reduce even the particles as tiny as 0.1 microns.

But right now, the Okaysou AirMic4S is a good portable device to have in bedroom, thanks to its decent specifications.
